Greetings footbag community.

Iâ€™ve been a casual player for 2 years, starting with Tom Mosher in Oakville. Recently Iâ€™ve come into a position where I have time and a place to play footbag and Iâ€™m trying to make these sessions grow.

I've been having people come play every other Sunday at my house in Oakville as well as at random in the week. I have a house to my self, so thereâ€™s lots of space to play. My place is fairly close to the Go-Station as well.

We've been getting good turn out, averaging probably about 4 or 5 people a session, but I would love for others to join in. I've been playing with Johnny Sudermon, Jay Boychuck, Jorden Moir, Tom Mosher, Dan Cyr, Adam Greenwood, Josh G (though not for a while), Larni from Austria, Adam Lap, Jon Haber (kind of) and a bunch of new players. I've been in contact with some other players like Camille, but at Sudermon's suggesting, I'm posting this on modified. (Sorry if I spelt your name wrong).

If I should post this else where, just let me know. There seems to be quite a few spots on this forum where this information applies, so Iâ€™m not sure if I posted this in the best spot.

hey I have a buddy that lives in Oakville so I would most likely be able to play when I visit him. I would also be in for coming up there if you get a bunch of people to come. I haven't seen much people play in person yet so I wouldn't have a problem making the trip. I am pretty new to footbag as a sport.

Wicked. There is quite a variety of skill, so that won't be a problem (if you were concerned about playing with people better than you or feeling out of place, I'm a newb haha). I'm just trying to figure out when to host the next session, as December everyone has school work and holiday events to attend to.

I was thinking of doing Sunday the 20th if there's enough interest.

So far I have Tom Mosher and Dan Cyr coming. I'm very excited, as these are basically the 2 guys who I started with. We're going to probably start around 1 or so and go for most of the night off and on.

I'm going to call up some other players as I use the phone a lot to contact people, and just started using this forum so I'm not sure how fast people respond.

I would actually have no problem playing with people a lot better then me and I would actually rather it lol. I don't think I will be able to go on Sunday because I work and I am actually supposed to be meeting some people to play somewhere in Toronto on the 19th. There is also a F.A.T. blog where this might be a good place for this topic. Its for people that play in Toronto and area.

Should I double post this then? I found a couple other spots this applies, like the FAT blog, thereâ€™s a blog for south eastern Ontario etc. I just don't want to offend people by making it seem like I'm post whoring.

Hehe yeah I noticed. I'm waiting for some advice hopefully from some longer serving member, or I'll just call up someone to get a faster answer haha.

I say do it. an informative post in their blog doesn't hurt anything.

I'm going to start trying to organize foot bag on Sunday's again. December was fairly successful, considering people are very busy with school and families, I got to play with more than enough people.

I'm thinking as mentioned before every other Sunday. I haven't quite decided when to start this up again in January, I'll talk to a few of the main people I play with and post on here ASAP once I decide.

If anyone has any questions or ideas let me know, because I'm also going to throw a tournament with some people and do maybe a group cottage trip or something.

Hey Liam!

a cool feature of this bulletin board is that when you edit the original post of a thread, you can also edit the title. You can use the title of the thread like a little billboard to forum readers about the time and place of the next session.

Hope I can make it up some time. I am badly out of practice!!! but I still have fun.

That was an awesome session on Saturday. Really nice big turn out. I think we had like 12 or so people there.

I'm going to start setting up the next session in Oakville. I'm thinking the 17, 24 or 31st, or we can even do a couple dates or switch one of those to a Saturday instead of Sunday. Let me know if you're interested, what days you can or can't make it. I can also give out my email or phone number if it helps any of you to contact me.
