I have given myself the go-ahead to hijack this here Eugene, Oregon footblog. James doesn't kick much anymore, I guess. At least I haven't seen him around in a while. But the Eugene footbag scene is still alive and vibrant. I just moved back to the area after a summer in Idaho and a fall in Europe, and that makes three of us. Since three is the minimum for a 'scene' then I guess we're up and running again. Anyway, I'm rambling. Lets get to the synopsis of the latest shred, shall we?

Session in the EMU today: Kurt set off this terrible alarm trying to plug in the stereo. The awful noise disrupted his chi and the security forces investigated.

Highlights?
-food processor
-weaving butter
-a bunch of clippers
-sandmaster guest appearance
-terrible noise

Rumor has it, Aaron Orton might come back for a session or two. I saw him on the news the other night. My girlfriend said, "wow, that guy has huge biceps." I looked over and sure enough...

Regardless, Eugene still has a footbag scene and I invite anyone in the area to seek us out and kick whenever.

So Aaron did come back for a session yesterday. After getting kicked out of the Hult Center, we went across the plaza and had a great session, probably the best session of my life. It was good to kick with Aaron for the first time in almost a year. He hasn't lost it at all. Too bad Kurt is in Ohio and Shawnell is in Texas, because this was one for the record book.
Highlights:
-Mindbender(new 6!-sealed on the 1st attempt)
-string with 5 unique 5s and a 6
-a few 20+ contact runs with good add ratios

Props Riley! Glad to hear you made it through Europe in one piece.
