ha ha, scott, if I had the volume of tricks dialed that you do, I wouldn't need such a systematic approach. fucking sucks not being uber talented I tell ya. I PM'd you, we should hang anyways, it's not always about the hacky. My kids can climb on you instead of me for a little while.
Ian, PM'd you and matt the details that will work for me while I'm in town, hopefully it synchs up with your availability somehow. Monday the 28th, dinner time-ish and later is best.
drew, we went back and forth already, so hopefully we'll be shredding over the break. you haven't seen shred barn yet, how's that possible?
is benham still on here these days? come shred
good33, the card approach has been great for me so far. it really has forced me to get out of my comfort zone, and try new things. and i've found that as i force myself to try these things, it's been improving my overall coordination, quickness, precision etc. on things that come more naturally. i plan to stick with the approach for the forseeable future. of course, when others are kicking with me, i just shred, no drilling.
got a new matt cross bag. looking forward to trying it out this evening.

kicked last night, damn i'm sore it was a good practice. every time i play, it's funny because I mostly spend time picking the ball up off the floor with this new practice method, but at the same time I can see all sorts of things getting better. and then I shred, and i'm playing at the highest level I've ever played at. so I think the practice method is working, and I think in a few months when I start actually hitting the tricks instead of almost hitting them.. it'll be cool.
i did hit atomic op osis on the strong side. that's new.
blurry whirling swirl is hilariously far away from being hit. i think the neighbor's cat was laughing at me even.

hell yeah, footbag is fun. fun practice. grueling and tiring too. but fun mostly. hit double switchover for the first time i think. that was cool. it will be at least another year until i hit barraging osis (barroque?) based on tonight's attempts. But the point is that I tried the trick. ha ha, sometimes that's all that matters

That's too funny. I feel like that sometimes when I'm playing in my garage and try something that I totally miss; like hitting myself in the head trying diving or ducking. Then a car happens to be passing by. I only wonder what they are thinking.blurry whirling swirl is hilariously far away from being hit. i think the neighbor's cat was laughing at me even.

pep talk helped a little
short vid, the beginning is a quick tour of the shred barn (well, the exercise room portion of the shred barn at least) and then some christmas eve shred. comments always enjoyed

hey Bob!
Hope you and your family had a great Christmas!! I enjoyed the last video of the barn and shred. I particularly enjoy the shoe hanger and that old-door is pretty neat, a time trip in the midst of a completely re-done room... cool beans.
You seem to have increased control and consistency in runs. Was this during one of your tired sessions I'm guessing?
Anyway, we should shred soon. When are you free?
