Best of 2009 People's Choice

Hi modified!
We are kicking off what is to become an annual thing, our Year End Best Of list! We are curious what people's favorites were from these categories, and would like to tally your input on this forum.

Categories:

-Video: Best Raw Shred
-Video: Best Edited
-Best Event of the Year
-Best Moment of the Year
-Player of the Decade (only every ten years, specific to this year)
-Player of the Year

We are doing our own internal vote at Fourkast, and are interested to see what the community's choices are from the last year. I would do a poll, but there is really a wide range of options in each category.

On Monday January 4th we will post our results (from Fourkast) and the People Choice vote. This will go up on Fourkast and modified, please feel free to chime in on your selections in any of the categories. Whether there are a few or many votes, they will be tallied and the final outcome will be posted. We look forward to hearing what your favorites were!

Ill put a few noms up for a few categories:

Player of the Decade: Vasek Klouda
Player of the Year: a tough one, I might say Damien Gielnicki, for coming from having a complete lack of a clipper on one side, to being dominant on both sides and winning a World Championship over the greatest player ever. I hope this counts as being in this year?
Event of Year: Although i wasnt there, Worlds in Berlin was fantastic.
Moment of the Year: Not sure it counts as a moment as such, but watching Phil Morrison's dropless finals Routine at Aussie Nationals in Sydney

The footbag player of the decade is Manu hands down. If you are talking about freestyle then its Vasek. Manu has been world champ for the entire decade not only that but he has only lost one tournament in the decade. I can't really decide on the others I just don't feel like I went to enough events or saw enough moments.

Anssi Sunderburg. He's put up so many videos and hit so many hard crazy things that have been posted and are readily available to everyone.

For me, NYJ 09. But if I would have gone it would probably have been Worlds.
