Saw a cut of the doc, looks amazing.
Took pictures of the Central Park location, they're in the JTT section.
Kicked with BriDams for like 15 minutes on saturday and he rolled his ankle.
Put some TaeKwonDo clips together, its kinda funny.

things are turning around?
Dont really know if anyone reads this but ill write anyway bc i am having a not great couple of weeks but a really good day.
Had a rough last few weeks. I feel like my life has kinda been in limbo, not really sure exactly what im doing or where im going. A bunch of prospective stuff but nothing totally coming together. Was a little depressed about it and ive been skipping taekwondo a lot (was going 4 times a week, lately only 2) which isnt helping anything, just havent been motivated.
Had a really good day of hacky on saturday. much of the Nyfa crew was there, im always really happy to see them, definitely some of my best friends. Hit far swirl and whirl a few times, and i was messing around with knee bumps legovers and pickups which was fun.
after that i had my grad party at ashley's place (my gf) and the nyfa crew came, and rizz showed up! with her new BF who seemed really cool. great to see her. Played a lot of pong and wii bowling.
everyone left and i passed out, bruce forgot his keys and came back and wrote on me. That seems to happen when i pass out around nyfa. Umm the next morning ash's roommate was talking about Bruce, and i was like i could totally hook you up. She was like how old is he? 39. Oh i thought he was like 30, hes almost as old as my dad. Sorry Bruce I tried
I was talking to ash about how i felt like my life is in limbo, i keep trying to no avail and it is starting to get to me. Even though Im broke, and an ass a lot of the time, she believes in me and she said that she admired the fact that I know what I want to do with my life, and it takes balls to keep chasing that. I am so lucky to have her support, i dont know where i would be without her.
Ive seen a bunch of really good documentaries lately too, so ill write those and hopefully some of you guys will watch them.
Air Guitar Nation (Really fun)
Rock the Bells (A lot like my NYFA doc which i hope will be finished soon)
Tupac: Resurrection (Amazing photography, great directing)
I guess ill talk about why i had such a good day after all that depressing crap.
I did a job for some israeli news station a few weeks ago, got paid and there was a problem trying to deposit the check, after going to citibank 3 times and talking to the manager they finally let me deposit it. Huge pain in the ass but i finally have some money.
was short on tickets to my graduation so my whole family was going to be able to come but got an email from the school today and they gave me 2 more tix so now my whole fam can come.
got a call from this place that i interviewed with and they want me to come in and talk about the job on thursday which is great.
When i left mtv, i wasnt sure if i left on the best of terms, im still not sure how they feel about me. but i saw the director i worked for and talked to him for a while, hes working on a new show which is great, im really happy for him. A little disappointed he didnt call me to help him with it, hence the not sure how he feels about me, but im glad i got to talk to him for a while, really great guy.
annnnnnnd im graduating tomorrow!!! havent seen my dad since winter or last summer i dont even remember. so thatll be nice. ashley gets to meet the parents, guess that means its getting serious.
I guess thats all for now, hope everyones finals/ school year is ending well. Its great to read people are getting jobs for the summer. I think Ken got one, congrats to him. Really glad to hear Dave got a job, congrats to him as well.
Giddy up and Giddy out!

Hey Man,
Congrats!
I'll take a look at your last email again in a few days and try to complete what you requested. I hoped to be done with something on Sunday that was pushed back. I want to help you and NYFA out, I just wish it could be sooner.
The good news is that we bought our tickets to Europe and I will be able to make the Jam.
It sounds like you are becoming clipper heavy, like me. Have you tried ducking clipper and ducking paradox mirage yet? I recently discovered that if you set right above your neck, that the second half of the arc is really easy to visualize and connnect with. So much fun!

Rabbit in PA
Heading home to Pa tomorrow for the first time since winter. Its going to be great, going to see a bunch of friends and definitely going to play footbag every day. Ill be nice bc ill actually have space to play in my house.
This is the first weekend in 5 months im not going to see Ashley, I didnt even realize it until she brought it up. Had to think about it, but i believe it is true. But that isnt even the whole thing, its her birthday! The big 22. Such a hard decision, but its my best friend since 3rd grades graduation (kevin), havent seen him in too damn long and promised him I would come home. Ugh, i wish i could be at both.
And aparently Ken is coming into the city this weekend??? I dont know if its true but it was up on NYFAs yahoo group. I wish I knew this earlier I would have tried to make some other arangements, maybe just going home for a day. Ken says next month nyfa says this weekend, i dont know who to believe!
I might be in DC next week, working on a music video and have to get some clips from the national archives. You best be around if I come down Ken.
Either way im psyched to be officially graduated and finally having a footbag filled weekend out of the city.

NYFA TOURNEY Part 1
Ive been putting off writing for a while, so here is my NYFA tourney write up to the best of my memory...
Friday- Woke up early in the morning and left Ashley's place, Anita (Austria) had come in the night before so we got breakfast in Union Sq and headed to my house to pick up some things and put all of the routine music on my IPOD.
Around noon we headed back to union sq where Bri Dam and Way way were, I left Anita with them and ran some errand. After picking up the tournament shirts/ permits I head back over to Union Square to meet up with everyone. When I get there Brian, Waylon and Anita are all relaxing in the grass and shade. It was a really hot day, almost too hot. After grabbing some soup, I plop down with them. It was a damn hot day, I'm still not sure why I decided to get hot soup and eat it outside...
Annnnyway everyone slowly finds their way over to union sq, and people start kicking. It was really nice to finally meet Carrie LaGreca and Mike Toolan. Neither were able to make it to the first event, due to I believe a wedding and i don't remember why mike couldn't come... anyway good to meet them. Mike is pretty sick too, he has a really clean style like Dave, unfortunately his back was hurting and he couldn't play that long.
Around 7ish, 20 of us head over to a diner on Broadway. Had some dinner and hung out, I'm pretty sure i was throwing food at some point. around 9ish the upstate NY car with Jorden, Matt, Pat, Tank and Taylor got to the area, so i waited outside for them with Drew and one of his friends Dana i believe, apparently she wants to have a 3sum with us (me and drew), not either of us individually, but with out powers combined are irresistible I guess. I said whats up to them but wasn't sure who Taylor was, I knew she was coming, i thought from Florida. I remember walking up to her and being like Hey! were friends on Facebook right? lol. She was kicking outside the diner with everyone, shes pretty good.
Everyone left the diner and we were passing the Quiznos next door and i look in the window and standing there is Steve Goldberg. He had already told me he wasn't coming, pretty sneaky. It was a pleasant surprise to see him. After that everyone headed home for the night.

Fun fun fun weekend, Saturday I woke up and went to Bruces, Drew martin and Dave Beyers came over and we found a nice spot to play. Dave has got a really cool style a lot of fliers, def fun to watch. Played for a few hours then ordered some food. Went to the beach today and played some footbag there, some kids had a soccer ball and kicked around with them.

Today: NYFA Day 2 & 3 write up
Tomorrow: Final Thoughts... Please look out for this post, going to be looking for feedback. One big topic I would like to address would be: event for the players vs. event for the spectators. I think its a pretty deep topic and I might post it in the journeys to tourneys section.
Saturday... Woke up really early, like 530 or something ridiculous, finished up with the players packs and getting everything else together. Jorden, Anita, Ashley, Meg and I lug everything to the site. I think we were there by a little after 8 and to my delight there were a lot of people already there. I was unfortunate the event had to get rolling so early but we only had a sound permit from 10am til 2pm meaning all the events had to be run in the 4 hour window. After 2 they could turn off our music.
We eventually get everything we needed into the park, with the use of footbag player power. There were no cars allowed. Registration got started and ran smoothly, music was up and running by 10. Food was running a little late, which was the only noteworthy problem of the morning. We get up to Open Routines and I look on my Ipod to get the music for everyone and it isn't there
on the plus side mostly everyone was prepared for plan B and brought CDs. On the minus side 2 of the people I wanted to see the most, were not prepared for my screw up, Jorden Moir and Mike Toolan. We tried everything we could to get their music, I-Phones, Palm Treos and even a computer wouldn't work, I wish the park could get some wireless internet.
So we get up to Ken Somolino's routine and most people know he went dropless. The whole 2 min me and Bruce are pretty much bitting our nails, Ken is as cool as a cucumber. Luckily he didn't see the crazy lady trying to dance with him, thanks so much to Ian and whoever else grabbed her. I think at one point Ken looked at Bruce and laughed bc of how stressed he looked. But yea Ken nailed it and we were all extremely psyched he did it in NY.
I don't really remember what else happened everything went so quickly. I know we had a lot of spectators, and many of the bought footbags for their kids. We sold like 50 Mr Sandbag footbags, it was really cool to see so many people interested enough to by them. There were also cops on horses that were watching for a while. No one turned off our music. The Trophys were amazing as usual, thanks to bruce, the shirts rocked as well thanks to Bruce and Ian.
After everything got cleaned up we headed over to Josie Woods for dinner, found out that Ian went to school with Vinny one of my favorite bartenders there, Small world.
We left and headed over to Dick Shea's (dance studio) for the after party. I got there and collapsed, I was exhausted. Gave out the awards and trophys, raffled off a bunch of stuff, threw Mr Sandbags at people. Had a couple drinks and just layed on the floor. Everyone went home about 1ish.
The next morning Ash and I made breakfast for Anita, Meg and Jorden. Eventually we made it into the city and Benny Kellman was there with some Redbull guys and a few people were playing in the rain. I joined in for a little. After that we chilled at Bri Dams place and got some food.
