bailing on sessions

Nothing pisses me off more when people plan a session, and then bail on the session. Especially when it happens repeatedly.

Yep. This is one of the reasons I kick solo so much. I can just do it when & where its convenient for me, without getting let down by people who don't do what they say they're gonna do.

I hope Zeke sees this thread, he's had some experiences with truly prolific flakes.

I used to pull this one on Mike Anello - LAME. I don't think I've had a bad session bail in a few years.

Sometimes the weather bails our sessions for us around here, too

Wooooooooo! What have we here?

I want to hang out with my friends and have a good time on the weekend, not waste my time waiting or wondering if they are coming out at all. I really have deep contempt for people that do not take responsibility for their actions and are oblivious/indifferent to how it effects everyone else.

I want to go back in time and stomp on the genitals of their ancients so the rest of us would be spared their uselessness. Fuck them deep sideways twice and everyone that looks like them.

Im going through a similar prblem myself at the moment. The guy who i used to play with quite regularly has made several promises over the past... ooo... eight weekends that he'd bring his shoes and shorts and we'd shred it up. He blames the weather and not being able to play outdoors which I partly agree with, but at the same time I still feel let down.

Shred is like sex, for me it needs a partner. Otherwise its just masturbation.

I guess I really like masturbation cause I always play footbag alone, and when I do get to play with other people it's an orgy cause there is usually more than one person. Masturbation's just practicing.

What about when people come to the session and THEN bail out? My friend came to a session, tweaked his knee on warm up and peaced in 20 minutes. Not a big deal, but if I got hurt I'd still stick around to watch while the other person shreds for a bit. (insert masterbation joke.)

Well, unless the Cardiologist says, "If you play footbag, you'll die", then I'm not gonna bail... Though If that were said, even then I might still play. Best to go out doing what you love.

My rehab after having open heart surgery in 1999 was footbag. If my heart can take it, I'm sure you'll be ok too.
