Hey, Zac! I really liked this video. Man, you sure do have a lot of talent making your strings blend intensity in combos with a comfort and ease of playing. I guess I hadn't watched your videos in a while and what stuck out for me was how you held your hands and your variety.

A critique, if I may, could be to use more types of ducking midstring. You've got creativity in other places. Now let's see weaving mirages and illusions and zulu whirls and stuff! Just something I thought was lacking from your last "shred" video(s).

Glad you've kept up this level of play. You're good. Peace.

Thanks Pat, I'm glad you liked it. :)

Thanks for the advice on variety. Currently I'm working on getting some cooler spinning tricks, but after that ducks are on my list.

I'll make a new video soon. I've been playing ~3 times a week.

been playing a little more.

Matt and I have a mini-competition going to see who can average the longest run over the summer using a set of ten tricks. My average is currently 14.5. It's kind of fun.

Looking for a job. It's hard to find someone to employ you when you're 19 and you don't have any 'job' experience. I wrote an essay that I hand to the people interviewing about how experience is unimportant. I've been thinking about experience a lot lately, actually. I have not come to a conclusion, contrary to my essay. Conclusionlessness is a necessary element of experience it seems.

Good afternoon, friends. I'll post some clips soon.

I think you shouldn't say that experience is unimportant, because it is very important for many positions. Instead you should stress how you are not biased by past work experience and are available to learn and develop easily. Many employers prefer hiring people with an empty slate because it means they have no bad habits and can be molded to how the employer wants them to be. Then you can take from school, footbag or any other experience that you do have and cite situations where you have addressed difficult problems and how because of those you feel you can handle the requirements of the position you are applying for.

You should drop the whole inexperienced aspect all together and be more positive. If I were an employer I would not hire an individual who told me that experience is unimportant.

I worded it incorrectly - I meant that previous 'job' experience is unimportant. Not totally unimportant, but less important than many other things.

In the essay I wrote about experiences involving footbag, school, volunteering, and art that I am sure would translate to any job.

Thank you though, Reid. I didn't realize how unclear that was, but now that I see it again it's pretty obvious.

An elderly couple had dinner at another couple's house, and after eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen. The two gentlemen were talking, and one said, "Last night we went out to a new restaurant and it was really great. I would recommend it very highly."

The other man said, "What is the name of the restaurant?"

The first man thought and thought and finally said, "What is the name of that flower you give to someone you love? You know... the one that's red and has thorns."

"Do you mean a rose?"

"Yes, that's the one," replied the man. He then turned towards the kitchen and yelled, "Rose, what's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?"
