Hey all, has anyone bought mats for footbag? I want to get one so I can play in my apt.
What type?
How thick?
Thanks!

I made one from a 2m x 2m section of carpet, with duct tape around the edges to stop it fraying. It's just as good and probably a lot lot cheaper than buying one. Keep an eye out in carpet shops for a cheap offcut or ask around to see if anyone around you is renovating, you might even get it for free!
I got matt and nick to sign it last time they were here too

I got those foam puzzle pieces that I see a lot in videos, but they slip around and they have this weird friction that makes spinning feel really weird. (They also blow away in the wind, outdoors..)
I stumbled upon some kind of... industrial entrance mat type stuff at COSTCO one day and picked up a couple of pieces for $15 each. It's rubber on the bottom, which grips the floor and doesn't slip away from you, and also provides cushion, but it's a hard kinda carpet on top (KINDA like turf) which is a great spinning surface. They're pretty ideal, I wish I'd bought more. Also, COSTCO's stock is always changing, so this prolly doesn't help too much. But I've looked in, like, Home Hardware before. That's prolly your best and cheapest bet -- something like that.
