needle question

i know i use glovers needles. like the KFM sold back in the days. i just dont remember the size of it. i have only 1 and its not as sharp as it was ..

so, what is the good size for the needle ?

John James brand glover's needle, size 10. they are sold for a reasonable price on ebay.

that's what I prefer. they are smaller than the old KFM needles. Compared to what you're using, it will feel like you're pushing your needle through butter (I can say that from firsthand experience).

Matt: If I wanted the John James brand of glover's needles, but in the range that KFM used to have back in the day, should I go up or down a size to get them bigger/longer?

I believe that as the size number goes up, so does the size. You should give a call to one of these online stores if they have a customer service line, and ask them.

I'm not sure.

i curently have size 8 and they are alot smaller than KFM
