new avatar movie
i seen the movie avatar like a week ago. at first i thought it was going to be another one of thoes stupied childish fantasy movies so i didnt realy want to go at first. that like 100 people started like holding grudges against me if i didnt see it lol. so i went to the theatre and had to pay like an extra $5 to see it because it was in 3D (woop-de-do). surprisingly the movie was great. i enjoyed every minute of it. there was one scene were there was this big gunship thing and it was shooting out gas while hovering over some forest. well one of the gas capsules bounced when it hit the ground and it looked like it was coming at you because it was 3D. i was basically sitting down and jolted back when it was coming at me, i felt like the biggest retard lol. also the movie was 3 hours long and the time flew by so fast that it only felt like an hour and a half. my brother actually liked the movie so much that he wants to go back a second time.

Yeah the movie was a childish fantasy movie, but it was still amazing because of the 3d and the impressively immersive world that they created. It's kind of amusing that they created such imaginative biology while also creating such a boring plot. Still it's vary rare that I enjoy a movie based just on it's visuals. In fact I can't recall that ever happening before, so yeah, this movie is still amazing.

Unproductive, but slightly thematic:

everyone always bashes on storys/plot lines similar to this, but the truth of the matter is, is everyone likes plots like this, why would they keep making them if people didnt like them?

Yeah, really. I can't believe how many awards it has won.
If Jurassic Park would have come out this year, exactly as it was in whatever year it came out, I would vote for it over Avatar.
Also, I watched Jurassic Park today.
