394 just split from one awesome mohter baa.... it has asexually reproducesd itself... although it confuses the science world with its difference in apperance. why it looks different? we may never know.... 394... a freak o science. but nontheless the second 394 loks amazing... i might have to order something similiar soon.
my 3rd from yesterday. as soon as I finished, paul bought it from me. I made it because I wanted to do something simple after doing 2 6-stripe bags and a heart bag. It's an MC Grande (3-stitch with the templates from my 2-stitch bags), and about 40% full. 65g's. Then, paul and will went out and sessioned it. They said it played well!

And your hair is really long. What is the longest its been? I'm set to give mine away next week. It hasnt been above my ears for like 6 years. Im really nervous.

finished a bag in 80 min with the new stitching style and think i can cut down 5 or 10 more pics soon.
man, i have GOT to get some proper needles. i've been using the one i got from a craft store since day one and it's simply too big to do the sweatshop method. i'd love to make a bag in 80 minutes, that's ridiculous fast!
3-stitch. without cutting, i had cut out multiple bags and was in the zone. hehe. i'll film myself stitching a panel with this poke poke poke poke pull thingy. It takes me a pretty consistent 5-6 min to complete a pent
when making your first hex > pent stitch on an edge, you just put ~2mm of the needle through (or whatever your individual stitch length is), and, before you pull any more needle through than that, you just poke that little tip back into the facile where the next stitch goes, and push another ~2mm through, and repeat until you've stitched the whole edge without actually pulling the needle through. you can even continue it on after the edge into your hex > hex stitch, and then pull.
So, if usual stitching goes poke pull poke pull poke pull poke pull poke pull poke pull, the sweatshop method just goes poke poke poke poke poke poke poke pull. Saves lots of time time, and it gets easy pretty quickly.
Of course, if you have an old, dull, and / or too large needle, doing the final pull on the edge can be really difficult, and straining to the hands. With tiny little brand new glovers needles like the ones I recommended above, you'll fly right through the fabric. Seriously, if you're using a big dull normal needle and switch to these sharp little glovers needles, you won't believe the difference.
I just bought some of those needles and they rolled in a couple days ago. Gonna try them out this weekend. Also intend on switching to that speed stitching technique.
I do now own 25 of them so that is plenty extra. Will, if you dont have any by GRASS ill bring some along. Odds are ill be there.

yeah i saw your post about the size 10 John James needles, i dunno what size mine is but it's about 2 inches long, lol.
don, that would be awesome if you brought a couple to GRASS. it seems you can only get them in packs of 25 and that just seems silly, especially since i only sew 1-2 bags a week and haven't sold any ever, haha.
here's my latest, US soft pents of bright bright yellow and hexes of 2 new colors i got. with a little break in this one will be sweet. the first bag i'm officially putting up FOR SALE!!
next to a mini i made a year ago. they look very similar, but the yellow is more yellow-ey, the blue is more blueish, and the burgundy is, well, more burgundeyey. 75 grams of non toxic fill
buy the needles. you'll be set for the next 2 years, and the difference in the feel of the stitching would be worth the price for just one needle... so, look at it as spending $13 on your wrist, and getting 24 free needles.
Seriously, you'll love them. They're around an inch long... so small...
