Hopefully Matt's appearance on YTV not only hopefully made some kids look into footbag and try to pick on it, but probably gave them a chance to be less stupid in the future. Even after reading everyone say the hosts where annoying I did'nt beleive it until I saw it!

Good job Matt.

I think it's wonderful to see footbag on YTV. I mean, I don't know about the rest of you canucks, but when I was younger, I watched YTV RELIGIOUSLY. Anything that Tarzan Dan said during the Hit List, I took to heart. Anytime Dragonflies was on, I was watching it. But most importantly, that segue between shows, I guess it's still 'the Zone' but it used to have PJ Phil...anyway, I think every little kid watches those, and I think Matt Cross just showed a lot of kids all over the country what footbag is all about....and considering that Canada is a pretty big country, I think it's a friggen awesome thing. So props, Matt Cross for your dropless routine, but more importantly, HUGE props for possibly being a major catalyst for footbag in Canada.

That's actually exactly what I was hoping was true. That's pretty cool Matt. Well done (again).

Matt I gotta jump on the bandwagon here and give you props. Congratulations on making it on to TV! It was a great bit regardless of the overblown goofiness of the hosts. I think your demo was really well done. Hopefully plenty of kids saw it and are interested in footbag now.
 the word FOOTBAG was always used. I think they said "you might know it as 'hackysack' once". Heck, it even said "Matt Cross: Professional Footbag Player" on the screen couple times. You should take still shot of that and keep it :) Great exposure for the sport.
 You demonstrated the basics first and progressed the advanced stuff later on. The narration of moves was perfect. At first I was disappointed that I didn't see bigger moves being hit like swirling mobius or something but then I remembered it was a demo for the unfamiliar, so I think the stuff you demonstrated was absolutely perfect.
 Your attitude and stage presence were great. You had a smile on your face the whole time and were enthusiastic, yet humble. The over-wackiness of the hosts didn't seem to phase you which was good, you were in rapport with them.

Now let's get something like this on TV here in the states! :)

I WISH MY COMPUTER HAD SOUND!!!!1!1

Although, after reading some of the comments about the hosts, maybe it was for the better...

That was a great demo Matt, way to be the man and the face for new Canadian players to see.
