I saw this move 3 times. I loved it soo much. i thought the message of the the movie was remarkable. Any thoughts?

I loved it. But as far as going out to see a tearjerker, I prefered "Pursuit of Happiness" just a bit.

Not to take away from this movie. It was incredible.

It was more about like not judging a book by its cover ya know. Adam Sandler's Character Charlie Fineman was pretty much like a goofy looking dude and if u were to see him you would think man that guy is weird. Little would u know that his whole family had passed away in 911. I like makes me think that you got to give people the benefit of the doubt. Before you pass any type of judgement on their character.

dude, I love this movie, watched it last night with my girlfriend , I shed a tear everytime in 2 parts, the 1st when he gets out of the shrink's office and tell his friend about his family. and the 2nd after the trial when he goes to see his step parents and tells them about him seeing his family.

beautiful movie

that and Punch drunk love are the best Adam Sandler movies imho

Yeah, I love this movie tons too.
I always compare it to Stranger Than Fiction in that it's an atypically sweet role for Adam Sandler. Also Dan in Real Life for Steve Carrell. I really like all of those movies.

Also, I only watched Reign Over Me the first time because I read some article about how Shadow of the Colossus is a pretty integral part of the movie. And I really love that game.
Since, I've seen this movie at least 3 or 4 times!

so shadow of the colossus is a real game?? damn never thought it was a real game, yeah i was talking bout stranger than fiction to my gf this past week n shw rented it. love those 2 movies, never seen real life with dan. might have to give it a try.

Really? I thought this movie was hilarious because of how shit it was. Some of the dialogue is so bad. In one scene there is this awkward long pause that my friends and I had to rewatch it a 1000 times.

"No David ..... (stare) .... (takes off glasses) ..... what ...... (awkward stare, seemingly forgetting line) ...." SO funny!

Sandler just isn't believable and is kind over the top in this character. The whole 9/11 causation was sort of stupid and it didnt make me feel for him at all. I was hoping he killed himself and quit bitching about shit he cant change in the past. This is just me though, I just thought it was a comedy.
