Comments welcome or tips on anything. I kind of stopped big tricks and I'm working on using every sets now. In this session I let go variety for sets, so if you got any tips on any of the sets, fire away!

for many of the sets (steps, atomic, quantum) set higher, at 2:13 (the leg beater) your set didnt even reach your hips ... just tkae more energy to make them ... LIFT your legs

For steps and atomic I got to agree they are not so good in the runs of this video, I usualy do better but I put what I filmed to at least get some tips, anything else besides lifting the leg?

Loved it!!! Great song choice BTW. Anyways I loved the trick combinations and long strings. I like when people actually stop the hack when they are doing the tricks, it makes your style cleaner IMO. My only suggestion is to maybe set your pixes lower, but then again i'm not an expert on pixies : P If they feel like they're taking alot of effort then change them, otherwise just keep them as they are. Good job overall tho!

maybe if you dex sooner by dexing in front of the bag (pixie only) instead of above the bag. vertical dex instead of horizontal dex ....
and for the steps/atomics, "lift your leg" is pretty accurate IMO, lift it higher and faster ,l it will make your window bigger and you will be able to set higher more easily...

I don't agree with you Julien about the stepping set and the pixie set. The fact tha Mahtieu have to dex ''above the bag'' instead of ''in front of th bag'' is not the problem, this is the result of the problem.
In my opinion the ''problem'' (if it is a problem...) is the way is set the bag. There is no cut between the set and the dex, when he set he bring the foot really high, on both pixies and stepping set. So he don't have time anymore to do the dex. On the pixie, he still can do it because he dex ''above'' the bag. But on the stepping set, he can't dex it, except if he do a small set, because if he goes for a big set, then there is no more time for the dex....
So, in my opinion, the problem with the set is more something related to the way he ''set'' the bag, not the way he dex...
That said, i played with Mathieu recently, and he REALLY imporve his game.... Most of his set were really more explosive than before.... I have been impressed by his stepping set and is atomic set. I'm sure that if he keep working on them he will master them realy weel in the next year!
