Cool video Pete. My favorite part was Ben's nasty nun-chuck action. I didn't realize Kevin hit mobius that day. Props dude.

So I've been in a bit of a slump as of late so I decided I needed a solo session to work out some kinks. It didn't help much but I had fun with some drifter moves and such. Here are the results:

-dlo>near dlo>rpt (never hit this before, was super easy today)
-spin clip>duck clip>rpt with step ss clip between each contact
-spin clip>pdx drifter>duck clip>rpt
-pdx drifter>spin clip>duck clip>rpt
-vortex>pdx drifter>string>vortex>huge pdx mirage>string>pdx drifter
-vertigo bs to end session (never thought I would ever hit this)

Overall good session to make up for how lousy i played when Nasty Nate Linscott was in town. Man, that dude can shred-it-up. I really hope I get the opportunity to play with him again, maybe I'll make a trip out west sometime. Who knows.

First off fuck yall for not at least sending me a text about Nasty Nate being in town. I could have called out of work and stayed in boston till like 11, its not THAT unrealistic.

Props on veritgo Dank! now throw a pixie dex before the drifter and the duck, you wont. Doug the last few sessions you've been playing ridiculous. Slump my ass, stop being a women, you are ill at footbag.

Cool video Pete. You doing something ridiculous should end every video until your healthy again. I had the most bitch ass day so seeing some cool shred with boston skeeze crew is always great. That was a fun session. I was the dude in slow motion! word! You know, everything looks cooler in slow motion, heres a tape of me doing my laundry....

I'm assuming this means the nasty session video is coming out soon...mad pumped.

hells yes.

i been very...checked out of life in general lately, and due to ongoing injuries (im still making progress in that area though...another drs appt in a week or so and im gonna start yoga and/or PT after that), so i havent been posting at all on modified cuz i havent been able to play much.

BUT i stitched a bag last night for the first time in awhile and it came out good. and im very determined to turn things around and start getting into some good habits. been smoking less, getting more rest/sleep, and im working on eating better. i also want to just do more stuff with my time and not just do the same bullshit every day. ive dealt with much rougher periods of shit in my life, and worse funks in my footbag career and i been too tough to let this get me down. having realized all this im actually in a really optimistic mood lately. just dont want to squander the opportunity.

modified seems pretty dead too...i havent posted in the blog in mad long and it was still on the first page...i remember when you had to post like daily just to keep track of your blog. course i also remember when you had to wait 2 days for a single reply to a thread...

good shred

Yo BSC, been diggin' the videos lately. Especially the NN footage.

Planning on visiting Boston probably in May next year. Are there plans for a Beantown Throwdown II: The Revenge of Kenmore Square? Because I would love to come to that. Looks like Northeastern lets out early May, so mid-May might be better than April... just sayin'.

Pete, I feel ya man. Injury time can be really good to re-evaluate yourself and kinda make changes in your life for the better. That's what I did from May through October. Sounds like you've been doing that too. Keep ya head up playa. There will be plenty of time to shred healthy, I'm 28 and still going strong.

What's cheese processor again, surging ducking blender? I bet Pete was going for gangsta party, got super close and then decided it would be easier to add a dex before the duck, and then got even closer. :P

wow footblog was soo buried.

played like garbage in rochester....couldnt string anything. annoyed me enough to make me rethink playing a few times a week and pricing around for some knee surgury  anyone know any back-alley knee surgeons?

also since it was my first time kicking in about 3-4 weeks it made my calves so sore i could barely walk until today. itching to play though so i can start showing up those noobs again...

working on 3 videos at the same time as well: session video, philly trip, and rochester. on the grind. keep your ears to the ground for updates.

the video from the PA trip is up.

not calling anyone out specifically because there really isnt anyone to call out anyway, especially since the 4 or so people that read this blog arent guilty of this, but i remember in the days before modified SUCKED and comments would pile up even for weak videos, with lots of feedback and discussions of whether moves were clean or not. makes me not want to spend hours editing stuff that people dont watch/comment on.

still aggravated about my knee but i think i might have to just get the MRI and knee surgery no matter the cost and probably take 2-4 months off completely. but i need to be healthy...i cant toss around a softball in the front yard without tweaking my knee equals a problem. or maybe i should wait until winter...then i wouldnt be missing too much nice weather. might as well play with the few people that are around while theyre still around...
