Bag #8

Post by garygargan »

My second 32 panel bag, the size is much better, think I went overboard with the gather, I'll make it a little looser on the next one. Thanks for the feedback about using truncated hexagons instead of regular hexagons. I figure make another one or two and then sell a few for bargain to get some feedback...

Bag # 8

Post by garygargan »

I really like that watermelon bag! What an appropriate name.

My last bag was only 32 grams, because I only half filled it with sand. I think I should fill it a bit more, and make the bag slightly bigger.

I was planning to make a bag a week, but I find myself working on next weeks bag already, is this how the sickness starts?

My confession is that is not quite my second bag, it was however my second 32 panel, but the 8th bag I've made. Up till now it's been 12 panels.

Just gotta say i got these bags and and i fukin love em, but i can only keep one (Gold/white/black) which i am incredibly happy with. It is truley the softest, I have no idea how you made it that way. However i wanna steal the upper left one too.. ..

Thanks a lot though brian!!!!

That black and blue Bear bag has captivated my heart. I need to get me another Bear bag in the future, as the one I got in NYJ '08 is about to die. :(

I will try to post pics on two bags I'm making at the moment. Work has my hands full, so I'll do my best in getting them done and posted asap.

FS, 99g of lead... if you bought one of my bags around NYJ 08, they would have been about this weight. I can lighten it as well.

latest 2, right is all amaretta bipolar (return of the mighty bipolar pattern!!!) left is green grape usl/grey amaretta hybrid. this template proportion does not seem to work so good on hybrids... :(
