Metal filling sticking to inside of Footbag

My footbag has been like this for a while, and I've tried everything to get it back to normal, and no luck. Any suggestions?

So far I tried:

Soaking it in water overnight
soaking it in vinegar overnight
soaking it in alcohol overnight

who made that bag?

looks like it's the material that is too stiff or something like that. I don't know if I've ever seen a footbag do that before.

can you make another video like that of you smushing the bag like that, and then rounding it out for a few seconds in your hand like you would do with a bag that behaves normally, and show us what happens?

Does the filler stay as one large clump in the center of the bag?

what is the fill?

when you round out the bag, does the filler stick to the outside, clump together in the middle, or neither?

if it's neither, I'm inclined to think it's the material for the bag, the thread used, or both.

more info please! interesting problem!

It was a Landes 32 from Fourkast.com with metal filling, and all of the bb's stick to the inside of the cloth.

I've actually had this problem and it sucks a lot, because it happened to two really good bags of mine and I couldn't figure it out (a funk and a clavens).

It happened to me because of not getting all of the soap out after washing it. After you wash a bag, make sure that the water is clear when you squeeze it out. Like, spend 15 minutes wringing the bag out. Seriously. Then dry it properly - dry it out with a cloth for a little while at first, then just let it sit.

Im sort of worried as to what soaking overnight in both alcohol and vinegar would do to a bag.

When i dry mine, i play with it in my hands until its dry, never letting it sit. They always turn out nicer this way.

Ew, vinegar! I don't want to say it, but what were you thinking when that came across your mind? Now you'll have a bag that smells like vinegar for most of its lifespan.

Yes, like Zac said: wash it thoroughly! Squeeze it as you're rinsing and washing and you should be fine. Then pat dry every now and then as you let it sit every 15-20 minutes.

and wash gently! don't mash it or stretch the bag. i massage hand soap onto the panels and just sort of slip it around in my hand under lukewarm water. just a little friction on the surface to remove the dirt.

Squeeze that ****er out. Don't underestimate the strength of ultrasuede light.

Amaretta is a material that you should be concerned with when washing a bag.

Still no luck, I'm trying to squeeze it out and clean it without soap, since Zac says that is the problem (which makes total sense). and Wasabi, it wasn't straight vinegar but lysol with vinegar instead of ammonia, and it doesn't smell like vinegar luckily lol. but at this point, I'd rather have this problem fixed and it smell like vinegar

this happened to a bag i had a while ago...
what I did to make it better was this:
take a straw and cut a slant like this:

stick the straw through a bleed hole so one end is inside the bag, and fill it with soap (i usually use laundry liquid stuff, but maybe add some dish soap too) now continue to wash the bag like you would, until the water runs clear... repeat until no longer sticky/squishy. When i finished with this, the bag was super thin and choice, but only lasted a month or soo longer.

I usually just work the soap/shampoo into the bag. The benefit of having a liquid soap is that it doesn't gloss over on the the surface of the bag but into the material itself. That's why I say squeezing is a necessity when washing your bags.

Stop using bar soaps people!

I finally solved this problem, what did the trick was using clorox laundry detergent, but I didn't use the straw technique like brian bear said, fearing it would make too big of a hole in the footbag, but thanks Brian for recommending detergent, it was the only thing that seemed to work. Whenever I was washing it with handsoap the water WAS running clear which didn't make sense to me, but the detergent literally had black water coming out of the bag and after it was dry it was back to normal. Thanks everybody for your help! And to anybody with this same problem, just wash it in the sink with Laundry detergent (I used Clorox Stain remover and color booster if that helps).

just to clarify, when i mentioned hand soap i meant the liquid variety. and try to avoid things like moisturizers as they will leave residue. straight up liquid ivory or something comparable.
