finally got three or four paradox illusions with my "bad" knee... just changed my form the slightest bit. on the last one it sorta tweaked, so i stopped, but it feels completely fine.
ducks are alot more consistent, and are easy as pie to bsos. almost got clipper ducks, dives, and toe ducks bsos today.

got a random person interested in footbag, enough to play three games of two-square and kick in a circle with me and erika for about a half hour. even suggested lavers to him, and he sounded pretty interested. so maybe a new kicker? well see.

short session today iwth yogan and erika... yogan was too sick to play, and erika was freezing her little butt off, but she managed to do loads of toe stalls nonetheless. i hope she doesnt get frustrated, and realizes that she is doing very well for only her like, third (?) footbag session. she could barely stall at first, and now shes getting anywhere from 5 to 10 consistently. keep it up, cutie =]

erika and i played some footybag at lithia park in ashland today as seen in one of yogan and i's old videos. its a beautiful stage area with green grass all around and the sunlight coming through the trees, perfectly level concrete that grips just right, and all the while theres this gorgeous girl there kicking with me. awesome session. here's some of my highlights:
-spinning clipper bsos, first try. felt like cake.
-gyro clipper bsos, more cake.
-spinning ducking clipper, bs
-spinning butterfly bsos. felt so cool, like i was chad d's son or something.
-spinning osis bsos. this had more of a honza feel to it.

im so happy about how good i am getting at spinning... im getting better at not having awkward timing of setting, waiting, then spinning, but rather making it one fluid motion while still making sure i set straight up and down. "snapping" my neck around after setting really helps me sight the bag and stay balanced, also, the more visciously i spin, the better the spin is, but i sorta like slow fluid spins. a balance between the two would be beautiful, and i feel like thats usually what i do, so im content =]
erika is improving so rapidly! her consistency with toe stalls is awesome, considering how long shes been playing. like, she already has that rhythm of up and down, with a magic hop to top it off. im so proud of her progress. and teaching her has made me point out tips that end up being useful to myself... like, a i teach her, i learn things too. its really cool, and its awesome to have an activity as fun and awesome as footbag to enjoy with my girlfriend.
