Winners of Prize Money

Post by simplyqueen1 »

Congratulations to JIM PENSKE and EVAN GATESMAN for winning $200.00 EACH, with their ability to do A VARIETY OF THE MOST AMAZING 7-AD MOVES in Nucleus Shoes (brand new/1st day out of the box) at the Vegas Jam February 20, 2010!!!

Feel free to contact them both regarding their feedback on the shoes performance. These shoes force awareness of precision and perfect form to hopefully help players in the long run. I believe they were both genuinely surprised at some of the moves they were able to pull off. Their perceptions before and reactions after successful attempts & runs were all caught on tape. This will be posted soon.

More prize money to come for various challenges in future Jams and online contests.

CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN TO JIM AND EVAN for this first round!!

I got my pair a day before my birthday. Excellent timing, Queency :) Thanks! Was a fun surprise, and the shoes look and feel great in real life.

Unfortunately it's been raining here so I didn't get to play in them yet.

I'd love to see some photos of Robin's shoes! She did an amazing job of personalizing them!

Then Liz made an amazing 32 panel to match!

STUNNING!

The shoe is a great canvas (literally)!

it would be great to see someone lay down a white base on top of the black shoe and do some purty stuff to that.

Some random dude?

That looks a lot like Jason Crook, one of the most skilled and precise non-traditional footbag shoe users to ever grace the game. He also knows the makers of the Nucleus shoe, and participated very early on in the testing process.

Did you really not know his name? If you did, why not use it?

Whose voice was that saying "Wow, flat!"?

well obviously knowing his name was not a necessity since you knew it. and the only time he put the shoes on to test was when begged to try clippers in them. he did not want to at first because he hadnt played in 3 years. so this is someone who hasn't played in 3 years and could only be convinced to put ONE shoe on. He told us....."either its gonna work on the first take or its not gonna work because i wont do a 2nd take" and i think he summed it up nicely in the end. haha

Has hasn't played in three years,
one shoe,
prototype,
wrong size,
a good string a consecutive clippers.

Pretty solid endorsement for the functionality of the shoe.

I tried to order a pair of shoes.. Never responded to any of my emails. Never got the shoes. I'm confused. Tried to buy Guy a pair of shoes for his birthday. If I was supposed to pay extra for shipping I wish I would have gotten some sort of info from you. I'm still not sure where to go from here and I'm sorry I had to come post it up here to try for an answer.

Founder is out of area working with manufacturers and not available but Im gonna try to answer some questions. When you first made the preorder, it was for one pair but she sent a notice to send to the rest of us to send you an extra pair since the special two for one deal was posted after your purchase. A guy working on your order forgot to include it. I found an email on Feb 27, confirming she sent you the $40 so you can send back the shoes before she sent the pairs with diff sizes but I couldn't find any reply from you. Not sure why you hadn't claimed this or ever thought to send her an email until 2 months later?? Are you having problems with your Paypal account or something? She used the same email you have in Paypal. Hopefully the shoes you have are still brand new. Maybe she was thinking of half to you until the rest of us gets a chance to look at your return. Not sure what to do with this but you can PM me through modified. I also sent an email to Guydro that orders are being processed by date received and also sent her an email that I'm gonna try to handle it.

Hey...... thank you by the way! The shoes were late for my birthday but the extras made up for it! Thanks again! The shoes are great..my only complaint is that they are too white! Great shoes and I love that I show support for footbag.
My girlfriend thinks I'm a dork.............
But she loves me anyways.
