Every phase of your game is awesome. I like this phase a lot... a little more relaxed, a little more floppy, more creative, exudes less need to be completely hardcore all the time. It just looks like you're having fun for fun's sake... like, you're enjoying the journey, not clawing for a lofty goal.

It has been a long time since I watched myself type black words into this white modified box. It used to be a daily occurrence, but a combination of school, other hobbies, and a broken laptop led to me not really checking up on this forum too often. My shoes sat in the back of my closet.
I quit footbag for about 4 months. Depends on your definition of quit, I guess. I just didn't really want to play. Bevier had moved to Oregon, I was busy with finding a job after graduation, and I was putting any free time into card tricks rather than hacky ones.
To sum up some things from the past few months:
- I got offered a job from my internship at American Eagle, a clothing manufacturer here in the states.
- I turned it down to explore other avenues.
- Mr. Goldberg put in my resume to Google. 11 interviews and 2 trips to California later and I was a proud recipient of a job offer.
- I have a few months left of University. I will graduate in May with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Media Studies. I worry about doing good with my major sometimes.
- I will move 40 hours away from all of my family at the start of August. I will pull a Mulroney and live in Goldberg's basement. My snores will mesh quite well with the gentle hum of the footbag.org servers.
- I am trying so hard to go to Europe while I have the chance. My mom is upset that I would be away during the last month I will be on the east coast. She is taking the move very hard.
- I do magic quite frequently. I did a private show a few weeks ago for a gentleman's 50th birthday party. I walked out with the same feeling that I got from doing footbag routines back in the day.
- I am in a variety show this spring at the State Theater, a 550 seat venue I am trying to sell out. Check out my flyer:
- Vince Bradley, Ryan Thomas, and Adrienne Dukes are coming to see the show. It means a lot to me.
- I have over an hour of shred footage from my peak that is sitting on a hard drive. I don't know what to do with it. I tell myself I am past being one of the best, that all I want to do now is mess around and hit mirage. Anyone who knows me knows this doesn't mesh with my personality.
- I started playing once a week with Nathan Pipenberg. He is really fun to play with. It feels good to kick again. My skills are really rusty, but it is fun hitting the old combos.
I worry about footbag sometimes. When I check the forum it doesn't seem to be the bustling place it once was. Maybe it goes in phases though, or maybe I'm just too far outside the bustle. I hope a lot of people come to Worlds. This sport really should be big one day. People give too much of themselves to it for nothing to come back.

I auditioned for a talent show the other day. They picked 10 acts from 60 and I got picked. I did a dropless routine to the Yacine song from 2003 worlds. It went over really well. First prize is 300, fingers crossed.
My Europe trip is starting to come together. If all goes well I will be attending Euros and the French Open.
In other news, I have been practicing a move called the clip shift in magic for the past few months. I finally got some good ones on tape. It is a very hard sleight and was underground for 10 years before it was published. Check it out below:
