This thread needs a different title - the title it has made me think this was a re-posting of the france thing...

This was the best thing I've seen from you yet. Superb mix of technicality and style. Totally entertaining and awesome.

When I was comparing this theme to the kid style stuff, it made me think that this was what we've been waiting for. Your other routines have been good, don't get me wrong, but this freaky theme fits you so much better than the goofy theme. The chains behind the back (and that loop around the head and arms move) were a great aesthetic choice.

Can't wait to see what you do in Rochester.

Best circus routine I ever saw from you Jorden. I didnt saw many from you but this one is outstanding. nice concept and nice execution. the chain was a really good idea, to force you to use your shoes.

That was really fun to watch. I had to watch with the sound off at work, but really enjoyed it!

It is so cool to finally see someone actually making a living off of footbagging. Not the sale of footbag products, but actually playing the game.

Although the crowd cannot appreciate the difficulty of the end of that routine, it had even me going damn!!!! And I play!

Hmm, this is really interesting. So the general concensus appears that the style/approach and type of theme is more important than the level of technicality in a footbag performance. It's surprising to me because in competition it's more or less the opposite.

I really liked the music and the theme in this one. It was a cool weird. But in regards to difficulty, I did like seeing the barfly and the ps whirl in your live performance. Not that this one was contained the easiest tricks in footbag, I just think some of those harder moves can look really cool to a crowd as well.

But anyway, great job!

This is by far the most impressive routine from you (or maybe even anyone) I've ever seen. I really liked the progression of how you got from juggling, to the other guy putting you in chains, to the footbag. The music and costumes worked perfectly with each other, and your timing is impeccable.

From my perspective this was an incredible accomplishment, feat and performance, though it did not strike me as footbag routine in the traditional sense of the term.

Footbag as a sport vs. footbag as an art is an interesting topic, but the larger portion of the community would probably rather go with the direction of footbag the potential olympic sport vs footbag the next component of cirque du soleil. Particularly as new young talent comes in. Within this, the largest growing portion of the community, young alpha-male competitiveness will always over come genius's in tights. As such, I think you have been robbed of at least one incredible, though highly subjective victory.

I think ultimately you win more than anyone though, because you are pursuing goals beyond the box of this sport, and the lessons you are learning must be so much more rewarding!!!

I can't decide which I like more- this performance or the multiple times I have witnessed you throw down in circles competition, live.
