hiking before/after worlds

Post by Nathan »

Hey guys,

I'm hoping to go to worlds and I'm also hoping to hike the Appalachian Trail next March.

I figure if I do go to Worlds it would be a great time to get in a week long practice hike somewhere in the PacNW. I was thinking Wonderland Trail, preferably the week after Worlds. Mount Rainer might be a bit far though.

Just seeing if anyone is interested.

The west coast is full of beautiful places to go hiking, I feel it is the best attribute to living here and I encourage you to try. I know lots of good places near Portland to go to so if you are interested let me know. I am going hiking Saturday in a state park about one hour from Portland where there is a 7 mile trail and it has over ten spectacular waterfalls. (Silver Falls)
The beaches are unique but the water is cold. It will likely rain. It is beautiful though.
