Hey CIC, there are two of us down here in Iowa City shredding all the time, but getting lonely. I was thinking we could meet up somewhere between IC and CHI to shred on a Saturday or Sunday in the coming months. I'll try to get ahold of James Risden as well (he lives somewhere between us). There are a lot of you so I didn't know who to PM, so anyone feel free to PM me.

Hey Matt,
We've been meeting up with Jamez every 2 weeks for a couple of months in Ottawa, IL. You're only an hour from Jamez so if you guys met in between it'd be 30 minutes - what i drove to local sessions. And I know James wants to kick so get in touch and live up September before it starts getting cold. I'm not in chicago now, but if it's still warm in october we can all get a sesh in.

And post a picture in that top spot please.

I figured we needed a picture, and I figured a smug jerk would be appropriate. I now present to you, Dane Cook:

I think it's time for pizza tour again. I had an address i texted and saved as a draft when i heard the news on tv talking about a place that GQ magazine voted the best pizza place in the country (aka world). But I believe it was rated as such by a person who has never rated a deep dish or stuffed pizza high on his list and isn't from here. This was months ago, and I finally looked it up. It's called Great Lake Pizzeria. I won't get my hopes up, But I think it'll be good to rate and to try. It's also like 19-23 bucks for a 14" pizza (only size they have - feeds 2 people?), but i guess we're used to paying $10 each. Post or text me when you guys are free.

If you think that's what you want... but you'll need to be a lot more short tempered and hostile. Bring your A game.

Grant, you also have to master 2 moves:

the OMG 360 eye roll:
360 motion then hard punch. You have to pull this off at will. It's most effective when playing defensive then used as a counter hit. Wait for your opponent to do something stupid then eye roll them!

and the Surge aka Beloit Thrust:
Charge down and back for a second then forward with all three kick buttons. It's an Ultra combo so you can only pull it off when your Revenge Meter is full.

Ugh. While attempting the Beloit Thrust, I injured my knee :( I'll be out for a couple weeks.

Wow, being Nathan is easy  The worst part was the guy in the brown coat telling me to step up my game. What's his problem?

Well if you've injured yourself thrusting you are definitely worthy of a second interview.

But there are some advanced techniques you'll have to master. I'm gonna need to hear at least two long stories that go nowhere, and several dozen non sequitur 'hey-os' and 'that's what she saids.'

So step up your game! *straightens brown suit*

That 14 point run was exposed as a fluke when I failed to win (adding insult to injury when I served game point to out of shape & out of practice Cuba x3 and got killed every time!). I do recall only working for 4-5 points, particularly when I got past 10 and everyone else got more focused. The rest was just other people's mistakes.

Mostly Cuba's, lol.

I had forgotten how much fun sqwerz can be. I'm so glad we all got a chance to get out and kick.

I saw you chip and dales video today.

I knew zeke was working out and trying to lose weight, but damn. He got a 6-pack pretty quickly. I was very impressed.

He did all those moves with a gas mask on too. I assume he was trying to avoid the fumes from the ball sweat.
