it has been such a while since i stitched a bag like that, iv been doing 2 stitches bags for like 6 month ans i didnt make any soccer patern for like 3 - 4 years !!!

Happy Easter Modified.

Here is my latest bag, it is all amaretta. I used a new teplate size and think that this is the best footbag ever made, period. Its never been kicked and it is more than perfect.

I'm really excited about my new template. Finished this beauty today. It is amazing. I love my old smaller bags, but this size feels so perfect. The bag requires no break in. So much more pillowy and soft but stays nice and round.

i picked up the needle again after almost a year off, i was lurking watching this thread and all the beautiful bags made me want to stitch some more.

Not the prettiest bags in the world.

Middle is #19, right side #20, left #21, 21 turned out nice and soft and probable has some of my best stitching to date, not saying much but it's getting better with each bag. All filled with lead from Josh Raye and some poly pellets from a guatamala sack i cut open.

Also some 4 panels i made from some faux suede, filled with bbs, fairly playable might sell a few to local hacky-sackers.

Thanks everyone, glad you like it, I'm really proud of the design.

Enough people have asked, so I'll just post the dimensions here. It's not a trade secret or anything, I doubt anyone would pay enough to make selling them remotely lucrative (however if anyone is interested in buying one let me know). Props to sweat shop stitchers that supply first world crap-hack businesses, you're complete badasses.

Ingredients:
12 pentagons with 12mm sides.
20 hexagons with 12mm long AND short sides.
60 hexagons with 12mm long sides and 6mm short sides.

Medium to high gather with shallow bite will produce a bag around 50 mm in diameter which is slightly larger than your average footbag (for comparison a golfball is around 42mm). If you are going to do medium gather then I would consider shrinking the template accordingly.

This is just a starting point, my dimensions are by no means ideal and I'm still testing new sizes. It's quite a slow trial and error process when you consider the extra stitching/cutting involved. This is comparing a two stitch 32 with 300 stitches to a two stitch 92 (as shown) at 900 stitches.

Some special considerations:
use a template/magnet system to cut out your panels if you don't already
use a small glovers needle and do a hania style stitch
do yourself a favour and get a decent gathering tool
be ready to spend at least 7-10 hours stitching if you are inexperienced
id recommend choosing a simple pattern to try for your first 92, keep it simple

For all you brave souls out there that go ahead with this, PLEASE POST PICTURES of your 92's (even if you don't finish ahhaha).
