1.) Take 60 contacts of a random point in a good player video, of strings and not drills. Video taken at a "good" / "high" point in players career.
2.) Get the data, and organize it so others could easily compare figures.
The videos I took, are of the following.
1.) Anssi. Second song in Tuukka's NYJ video. Starting after the whirr repeats. 2010
2.) Jorden. TNT session. 2006
3.) David: "Day One". 2007.
4.) Vasek: "Feet on Fire", after the mini-toe kicks, taking out his drill and montage rake sequence. 2005.
5.) Milan Special, by Eric Chang. started right at the beginning. 2010.
6.) Jim Penske: Zeb's special, from not too long ago. 2010.
7.) Honza's new nucleus video, taking out initial big tricks. 2010.
So yeah, here are the results.
Note... Obviously freestyle shouldn't be contained within numbers, as the links done in each video can't be given [at this time...] real values, and the amount of creativity and versatility in strings can't really be given by uniques. If I were to say, do this better I would take an entire 3 minute video and perform the analysis, however, that would mean ~2 hours would turn into ~6 hours... And then, of course, take a second, or third video, and compile more results. 18 hours. That might be a day well spent actually...
