Will ever be Vaska defeated?

Do you think Vaska will ever be defeated? I can't explain why but I belive that No.

What's your opinion on that?

yes he will be beaten. i can't say when, but he will be. i bet no one thought kenny would be taken down, when he was ripping it up! how long has it been since emanuel bouchard has lots a net match? a long long time, but he will lose, some one will beat him.

wait, didn't ryan win todexon 03? if he did i guess vasek just was beaten there then wasn't he.

I used to wonder the same thing about Ryan before Vasek fell under the spotlight.

Tudexon03...well, he is young and didn't know how to make a good performance at that time. Actually he knew(worlds 2002) but it was just 1 mistake. There won't be any mistakes any more.

Back around 2002 people were wondering the same about Ryan. The way I saw it back then, Ryan was definitely beatable, his weak spot being the presentation card. As it turned out, I was wrong, as Vasek came along and beat him by actually surpassing his difficulty.

The way I see it, Vasek is definitely beatable. If somebody steps up and hits a fairly difficult, but really well choreographed routine, they could beat Vasek. Remember the way judging is conducted now, if everybody place Vasek second in presentation and first in difficulty, and those same judges gave somebody else first in presentation and second in difficulty, they would be tied.

Also, do not discount the possibility of Vasek defeating himself. Although he is a more consistent competitor than any I have ever seen, it is possible that he drop at some point, especially given the difficulty of his routines. If he did a very difficult routine and dropped once, its conceivable that a less difficult but better choreographed no-drop routine could beat him.

Finally, don`t forget the lessons that Vasek himself taught everybody. Vasek is ridiculously good, but don`t limit your imagination. It is entirely possible for somebody even better than him to come on the scene. This has happened a couple times already. To my understanding, when Rippin` came on the scene, he was on the same level as Kenny. When Ryan came on the scene, he was considered better than most on the scene. Then came Vasek. You could argue other players like Ahren and Lon also fit this pattern, but the point remains the same: as good as Vasek is, its possible for somebody better than him to come along.

i thought Vasek only lost Todexon 03 because he cramped out at the beginning of his finals routine? so he wasnt beaten on a skills or performance basis. it could have happened to Ryan or someone...

obviously he will be beaten one day, but i wouldnt mind seeing him win for the next like 4 or 5 yrs if it should happen that way. i just cant wait to see what he will pull off next...

Although I can't see it happenning in the NEAR future, I think it's possible. And it will be quite the routine that DOES in fact beat him.

vasek just seems to be such a well rounded player and is also extremely skilled to hit the hard shit.he will be beaten and then slowly drop down to maybe even 2 or 3 but maybe not for a good few years becuase his skill wont peak for a while.He will continue to get better and better till he reaches a point where age factors,and physical factors wont allow him to progress

I voted yes. Because Vasek won't be young forever. When he gets past his prime he will have to work twice as hard just to keep up.

you also have to consider how Vasek keeps reinventing himself.
Compare videos from half a year ago with the barraging madness of
bila lavice, for example. I think he IS beatable, but he's setting such
a high standard, that it will probably take a few years until someone
comes up and defeats him.

I'm not so sure that age has much to do with it. Look at the Gods of Hack (i.e. Kenny Shults, Pete Irish, Rippin'). They're all fucking bomb. It's one of the things that I think is so cool about hack that other sports lack, the veterans don't retire. I also think that the one who beats Vasek will be young, just like Vasek was when he beat Mulroney. They just have more time to play and they're more flexible.

Edit: As in some ridiculously good kid will just come out and stomp him, but I could be wrong. At the rate new guys are getting better now, it's not that hard to believe.

and I dare say it may be possible that Justin and Ricky from Seattle may beat him. They both beat Lon, Pete, Daryl, Penske, and Allan at rippin run in Seattle... and they are getting better really quick. Put the length and consistancy together with fearlessness (which they are approaching), and I bet they'll at least push him in the near future.

But one with determination....

I don't think he'll get beaten, I think he'll get bored of competeing and retire from competetion in a few years. I'm sure that if he continued to compete he would get beaten eventually, but when he's that much better than everyone else, there doesn't really seem to be a need to compete, and after winning the worlds for four or five times in a row, I think it will lose it's glamour and excitement to him.

he will get beaten eventually, there's no doubt about that the question is when. He will probably win worlds for the next 6 years at the least

does anybody know anyone who trains harder than him? until there is someone with the same kind of talent he has and who trains harder than he does he wont be beaten

then again its quite possible for some random hardout dude to come from relatively nowhere and beat him but who knows with these things

jeremy, you was right in a way. he just stopped playing hard. You could tell when he started dropping more. Question is.... do you think he is still one of the top players and do you think he can still hit harder than everybody else?
