New Prices

Post by garygargan »

Yeah I did put them up, that was always the plan. Once I had the template worked out and the consistency up prices had to go up to something that was reasonable.

Some people are happy to make good bags for reasonable prices, I'm in pursuit of excellent bags, both aesthetically and functionally, and will hopefully keep my prices appropriate to the quality of my bags.

That being said, you got the last two before I put up the prices

Re: Bag 31 - Filler info

Post by calven »

Rob - I get my filler from Pellets LLC. Stainless conditioned Cut wire shot. They are very reasonably priced, shipping however is expensive. I wish they would use Postal Service Flat Rate boxes, then it would be a killer deal.

PM me if you want the contact details and price info.
Just to help out Gary. I have no clue where he gets his fabric though.[/quote]

UltraSuede Supply

Post by garygargan »

Fields Fabrics, you can buy as little as and 1/8th of a yard from them. Their colors are pretty hard to tell from the swatches, but they ship pretty quick.

And yes, you're right, Killa-Filla from Pellets LC - thanks

Hey man i just finished a session with your bag and i must say it played pretty nice. Albeit a bit roll but i know once it is worked in it will play like a dream. For anyone looking to buy one of his bags i would say at his prices you won't be dissapointed.

Thanks for the bag gary, its broken in already after a couple of sessions and plays pretty good.

It reminds me a lot of my old peng bag.

Going to have to buy another bag off ya before you jack them prices again. :P

Bag 37. It's not the pattern I created in my mind, but it turned out pretty nice. Part soccer, part triclaw, 65g of stally-fun. This one is going to Bryan.

Thanks you guys for the good feedback, it's good to know I'm hitting the sweetspot with fill weight and size. Stefan you should order soon, I am thinking of raising my prices, Again! (Not by much, don't worry!)

Color on Bag 31's pents

Post by Ramen God »

Hey Gary- I was wondering if you could tell me the name of the bright green color you used on bag 31's pents... I'm ordering on Field's for the first time and the list of colors is slightly off. I need to know the name so I can buy the right one.

BTW, awesome bags :D

Fabric Selections

Post by garygargan »

The bright Yellow/Green/Lime color is actually ultrasuede Soft, not Ultrasuede light. Having said that, i looked on the Fields fabrics website and I see it is no longer in stock...

I find USL is a bit stiff and would only recommend it for your pents, they do have a yellow in stock of US Soft.
