50% of a new video edited. just being lazy.

I have an inflamed tendon in my knee I think. no footbag for a few days. weak. This is going to be tough.

kid son:

-fog. first try, first time ever.
- alpine blurry whirl 3 times.
-flip flux + toe flux bs.
-alpine fear. inspired by lonnie.
-porque bs. one side is new.
-blur> toe symp whirl>30 contacts or so with bops, blenders, torques and mad shuffle.
-stepping ducking clipper bsos footed.
-nuke same osis>pdx torque
- finally figured out eggs! hit bs and footed bedwetter 25 fucking times.

hopefully play tomorrow. I wanna put something decent out before nyfa. but on the flipside of that, I wanna hit nemesis before summer is over and with my knee feeling like the way it does now, that won't go down.

peace.

I'm officially done with highschool . I went to the college i'm supposed to attend next year and took a test that decides what classes I'm in and solidifies my spot in my major (graphic design). I almost got a perfect on the communications portion but for whatever reason I rushed the 12 fucking algebra problems that could say me a few thousand dollars and did poorly on that part.

It's funny because I remember being in gym and being late to psch nearly everyday because I had to get one last blur to end a combo or hit this many pdx blenders or whatever. man my priorities are fucked.

NYFA last weekend was fucking great. Big ups to Bruce Dole for putting up with all of our shenanigans 3 nights in a row and to be able to keep up with us in partying AND lack of rest. Bruce is the man. I played like shit all Saturday. Like, most of the stuff thats there 95% of the time for me just fell to pieces. stepping ducking, torques, drifters...all gone. This was the first tournament where I didnt take a few days off before hand and It showed. Strong pixie felt weak so everything I did was flip pixie garbage and bops.

BSC went off though. Doug made circle finals and pete murdered sick 3 and little tristan (lol) looked sharp too.gyro food ain't shit. I'm happy for my friends.

I saw dave clavens play live too. I want that level of play. I mean, who the fuck wouldn't? but watching him hit insane combo after insane combo made me realize where I want my game to be. An actual direction in footbag. I'm no prodigy, but I practice. alot. my form sucks and I'm still in too much pain to play like i usually do but im motivated and also overwhelmed at the same time. there are kids around my age who have been playing much less then me, and less frequently still busting insane combos that I still cant touch so clearly i'm not fueled on some whack ass natural talent. thats why im skeptical on most positive feedback i guess. but also i see kids like that one from jersey who can hit spendor first try who have great foundations and form from just playing. I hope I fall somewhere in between on that spectrum.

sorry for such an epic long post, just been bothered yo.

the true tragedy is that im not even supposed to be here today.

shits good. bout to graduate highschool, got a license to drive and social stuff is good too.

I'm not going to be able to kick for awhile. its been two weeks and not much progress in the pain department.I'm going to the doctors on friday though, figure shit out and hopefully come back soon although I'm scared how much my game has deteriorated.

I miss ripped warriors. I'll trade my drivers license and highschool diploma for a good pair of legs.

peace

I got an xray earlier and theres a minor crack in my shin thats healing which is funny because coincidentally i messed around in laver twills last night.

my forms pretty bad but ripped warrior and mullet were surprisingly easy. Stepping ducking in lavers is cake. Even hit some new tricks and some cool whirling inside stuff which was fun. G units are still my favorite shoes though.

new boston video soon. just been to lazy to edit.

no longer need a brace. If I don't be foolish I should be good in 5 weeks. i typed a highlights post a few days ago from a short session but deleted it. just brought me down reading it.

Me and Lonnie are going to put down lots of mats in my basement so its safe to play on. I'm not sure why I got a stress fracture but furious sets on concrete floor definitely didn't help me and i never want anything like this to ever happen again. basics are going to be drilled to perfection once im back.

Peaceout. I found out today I can still duck nuke, that will actually be cool and worth taking about in a month.

good shred.

Writing an english paper on footbag. 3-5 pages shit is gonna be cake.

Played a little this weekend with Kevin. He hit his first triple dex, fairy op dlo which was cool. He refused to hit the easier ss version too, so big ups to lonnie for hitting a phat move and refusing to hit the wussy version. good shit son.

I've been thinking about flip stepping and why anything harder then blurrry whirl sucks with it for weeks. This session finally my thoughts came through my legs.Flip fog and bd and shit were really easy feeling. Strong still bothers me a bit painwise so I don't fuck with it too much although I footed a 7 and bedwetter like smacked my toe .

I had my units hid so I don't play for atleast another 2 weeks. Although Atomic drifter sounds nice right now.

shhhhhhhhhh.......

fog bs
ripped bs
tomb bs
vortex
barroque bs
bubba beater bs
blurry drifter bs

cripsy whirr+ bling blang
toe blurry whirl bsish
pdx egg bs

ps whirl bs
nuke same rev whirl
really shitty gauntlet
pdx egg bs
whirligig
toe rev gig
stepping ducking gyro toe

haha 3 more weeks til what?? you "start playing?" the only thing that looked rusty was your string length and genuine shred, big single tricks and links looked as good if not better than before. both HPDs looked way too easy.

Not gonna lie, they were.

Off to the docs in a half hour. If shit goes my way, I'm going to have a solo session in downtime salem right after. I'ts been a long time since I've been able to play.

I'm going to drill basics like never before. 100+ contacts of every 2, plus mad contacts of all the easy drills. The time to build a lacking game is now.

I can do more then I could six months ago. Eggs, Whirling swirls, far swirls, fuck even reverse swirls are creeping into my game, stuff i didn't touch much six months ago. The other day i hit bedwetter first try for the first time ever, my game has improved in some areas if anything.

time for shred. peace. 2011 is gonna be a good year.

played everyday since the 8th, sometimes twice a day. Focusing on basics and not being an idiot. Practicing in Lavers and Q3's in hopes of improving my style in units.

some highlights, stretched out over these sessions:

 blur>phoniex rpt first try
 fairy torque
 ripped>stepping ducking clipper
 furious rev whirl
 alpine fairy beater>psw
 legbeater>whirling swirl bs
 whirling swirl bsos

some goals for the next 3-4 months:

osis x200 (in q3's or lavers)
fury bs (could happen any session, already got it unsealed on flip)
ripped>ripped (same as above)
100 tiltless

word.
