Kingston Buskers Rendezvous

Post by abstract »

http://www.kingstonbuskers.com/

july 8th - 11th, 2010

this is a buskers festival that happens every year in kingston, ontario. all the roads get closed in downtown kingston & the streets fill with performers. there are always good crowd turnouts.

i might be able to get crash space for a couple of people, if there is any interest in this. we will probably have 4 or 5 local players out.

it's short notice & all, esp with USO / Worlds coming, but i thought i'd toss this out there.

If i come on July 9 around noon and come back on July 11 around 4PM, would someone be able to pick me at the terminal? Or is it at a walkable distance from the busking site?

there is a bus that heads straight to downtown from the bus terminal. i don't have a car, but john bagi does. i'd have to check with him on his schedule, but either way we should be alright. )

edit: i will be working on friday as well, until 4pm. if you catch the next bus after the one that arrives at noon, i might duck out early & meet you around 3.30.

K cool.

In fact, the trip will be basically free... Like 50$ for the bus. But with busking i should be able to pay a part of it... For the rest, even if i stay home i have to buy food...

So chance are pretty good that i come!

Man I would sooo love this, but my girlfriend needs to stay in bed for the rest of her pregnancy, so footbag is in last place these days, I rather take care of her

Maybe next year, I would be down for this, always loved busking, it's the way to play
