Honza Weber Nucleus Session 2 (White shoes)

Post by Webslinger »

Hey, here is a link for my Nucleus Session 2 video (vimeo this time :) )

http://vimeo.com/13280477

I think this is my favourite video from all the ones I ever made. I did not have much power, was struggling with the sharp sunlight and the insanely hot weather, so I tried to capture how my session really look like - no show off for the camera or anything, just having fun with the game.. maybe you will not like it, but I do :)

Since I am still recovering from my ankle problems I was a little worried that I might hurt the ankle in the shoes, but actually it was a wonderfull surprise because the balance in Nucleus is just amazing and so I would really like to recommend them for an ankle or knee recovery practise!

i find it hard to judge--both videos are amazing. i felt black shoes was a bit more "killer" & white shoes was "styley", if that makes any sense ( although both vids had plenty of both ).

also i think your style looks super tight in nucleus ( as in, tricks seem a bit looser in lavers ). how does the control feel in nucleus vs lavers? are there certain links / components that are harder to do in nucleus?

I really enjoyed both sessions for different reasons. Black session had more of the torque variations that i am working towards, so I voted Black. The white session had more massive toe tricks and very different links. I feel like Black session looks like you pushed more and White session looked more fun... Thanks for both, together they sum up many of the most kick ass concepts in our sport.

:) Ye, I really liked the movie, at least 6 years ago when I saw it last time :)

Well, nucleus are not that forgiving as lavers, I mean they could be when you learn the way and spend some time kicking in them. In the beginning I think they will make your style sharper and less sloppy because you simply cannot afford any bails :) which is good!

How has no one commented on the main characters last name yet. Dagaboob. This is funny to me.

Oh, and cool shred. I really liked the last link and the stepping b. Good luck at worlds (if your going).
