Just wanted to clarify that I will not be in attendance at this year's open. After my return from europe i need a few days before driving across the country.

I hope everyone has a great time and I look forward to seeing everyone the following weekend at worlds.

There are lots of cool places to go see in the Northwest and if anyone wants to travel around, I will drive anywhere as long as the price of gas is covered!

Hot springs
crazy huge waterfalls
rainforest
beach
lakes
Portland
........etc........

Hiya,
Thanks, the sideline shredder fee is for freestylers who are not competing but still kicking and utilizing the venue. It has become more standard practice for large footbag events in recent years, (I think that fee is $40.00 at Worlds). It helps support the event, as sponsorship dollars in this day and age are thin to say the least. Specifically for the US Open, the sideline shredder also gets a t-shirt, and can get in on the catered food we will have on Sunday evening. I encourage everyone to compete if they can, but this is the next option down from that. Anyhoo, we are less than a week away, people will be arriving early this week. Good times!

ps, if you are European, please pm me your flight and time of arrival, as I have many separated emails and I would like to confirm your arrivals one more time. Thanks : )

ps, and going along with tradition from last year, at some point during the weekend we are going to have a freestyler only Super Street Fighter 4 tourney. Last year was quite a bit of fun, look forward to it again!

Jay can't make USO, since I'm filing a restraining order against him.
