This is so cool.
This should be shown to new players who are asking which stitcher's bags to choose.

Wish I had more time and energy to make surpluses of footbags. Heh. :)

Does anybody familiar with the Oakland area know of another place to park besides the host hotel? It's $20 a day.

Even if I have to walk/bus some distance that's okay because I don't plan on using my car during the week. It's not worth $160 to have my car nearby for no reason.

Hello,

Thank you so much to the people who entered this competition and the people who helped me put it together. I couldn't have hoped for anything better.

It was a learning experience, and I knew that I might make some errors, but would like to tune them up and if I can ever do this again or provide help for the next one, I will gladly do so.

As far as the prize is concerned Waylon, everyone seemed open about donating one of their bags. So this pertains to Will, I would like to offer Waylon one of your bags, but will return the other one back to you.

Waylon, Brian and Liz specifically asked to keep their bags which happened to place higher. I will have to ask Liz if you can have the 92 and Brian if you can have the purple pented bag, but they both kind of dearly needed those back. I will try to work something out that best meets everyone's wishes.

Waylon, a good amount of the bags will be mailed to you shortly. I will talk with Red, and maybe I can work out a trade with him and get you those clothes you would like. They are so nice and would make the best prize.

I would like to hold onto these bags forever I say!!!!

I will find the greatest way to utilize the 1st Footbag Stitching US Open Championship Footbag!

Congratulations Waylon.

I wish they all could have won because they were all so amazing. Great work.

that sounds fine to me, aaron. no need to mail one back though, i'll be arriving in oakland the night of the 31st. are you still planning to attend for a few days?

waylon, take your pick between my two entries. they both use the same template, but one is slightly heavier than the other due to fill mix. i'll be curious to see which you pick, my girlfriend helped design one of them and i don't particularly like it, and i came up with the other color layout and she doesn't like it. lol.

thanks again aaron for putting this competition together. i had lots of fun making my entries!

thats ok! I feel there were soo many nice bags.
Liz specifically asked before she entered her bag that it would not be up for prize due to the amount of time it took to make versus the other bags. Otherwise she would not have submitted it. That purple bag is liz's b-day bag (this saturday) and she said i should submit it cause it turned out soo nice. Anyways, My 10-10 blur is available for a prize.

I talked to Liz over on fb about the 92-panel. She might make me one for Worlds, but that is the extent of that conversation. For the 92-panel that she submitted to this contest, she can keep it. :)

I honestly don't mind whatever the prize for this contest will be.

If no one wants dibs on the bag I submitted to this contest, you can give it back to me Aaron. I do know of one person in my personal circle of footbaggers that could use the bag I made. ;)

Shame I got fifth in the People's Choice category. Maybe I should have been more extravagant in the color design, or something.

People just left Portland for Oakland. They are camping overnight on the way, and will be arriving in town Saturday evening it looks like. Good times at the Open, felt like it was a week long event this time around : ) As for the Super Street Fighter 4 tourney, I took top prize again, second year in a row. For the event, I will have more video up when we return for sure, including Circle and Best 3. See yall soon!
