Copen Clavens "Remastered version"

Post by mentor »

Well my friends the time has come!

Copen Clavens

After playing a dozen of routines buskin in the city of Copenhagen, David joined us at the beach a warm summer day not so long ago. We stayed all night long!

Sick!

The frame rate looked a little weird: is this just me?

I love seeing the crowds faces. I try so hard to invoke that reaction and sometimes I can pull it off. But the crowd reacts immediately, stopping dead in their tracks, which is awesome to see!

You're awesome Dave... you've come so far and with absolute authority!

BTW - Are those camo G's, black leather G's, or something else he is shredding in?

Thanks,

Damon, they're just regular green units painted with a white paint marker.

edit: I've watched this video like 20 times today, and I've had my computer for like 2 hours total.

Addictive. Can't stop watching. Practicing the track on guitar now as an excuse to keep watching.

loved it! i think my fave part was the double down to inside. never seen that before. wasn't a big fan of the song choice. I liked the song, but dave's explosiveness and aggressive style of play just didn't seem to fit.

This video makes me especially happy. I'm not sure if its because of the frame-rate, 80's music, on-lookers, or clavens style but really I can't think of a hack video that reminds me of this one. It really stands out on its own.

Based on the other euro videos (such as clavens vs honza) I was wondering if dave did symp double downs anymore, this proves he still has it!

EDIT: Where is the double-down to inside?

Thanks for your comments everybody. All credit goes to David. He is in my opinion one of the most gracious and powerful athletes in our sport today. I know it is a love/hate track but the music is intended to reflect the atmosphere at the beach and beauty of his game.

I actually filmed this video with my pocket camera, which has a decent HD camera function (Canon Ixsus 110IS). I edited and distributed the video quite fast compared to a normal process. So without having much HD encoding experience, I spend two min deciding what to do. When I saw the outcome (after rendering 5 times as long as normal), I actually liked the frame rate side effects, as well as I was a little bit too lazy to make any last minute changes.

I tried to fix the encoding, but I still have problems, when I try to keep the file under 100 mb in HD. So… less frame rate effects in this new Copen Clavensversion.
