sorry...would you mind elaborating a bit on why it should be removed?

From my understanding, they help prevent the bag from rolling off, which makes stalling easier. I know they don't promote proper form, which is the main issue against them(?)

But the way I see it...I can use them to help learn harder tricks at first, then remove the rails after I got the other components of the trick down. Or I can gradually make the rails smaller before removing completely.

Unless...you're saying I should remove them because they're ugly

clipper rail should be removed because it will get in the way and ruin your sets, and it will cause you to have bizarre bad clipper form. You'll be fine without it.

Before and after...
I first changed from $5 granny bag to a real 32 panel facile pallet flyingclipper. I was amazed how much control I had with a good footbag.
Then I upgraded from converses to Lavers... Wow... Didn't know a shoe could make such a difference

Even more control and way better stalls.

nice. cut those boxes of stitches holding the sides of the shoe to the top of the toe (4 in total, 2 per shoe). It does not harm the structure of the shoe (if you only cut the thread

) and if you relace the shoes normally, they look just as if you had not made that cut.

I actually did it but the shoe is brand new and is still keeping it's original shape.
Hopefully in a few more sessions it will open up.
It's funny how the laver toe box does really improve stalls... the flat side as well for inside stalls.
My friends were making fun saying that I should stick a pair of salad bowls on my shoes
