I WANT TO BE BLOWN UP!

or thrown out of a plane... with one stipulation, you have to leave me where I land. Even if it's on the mayor's lawn.

Another option would be to continually use my body to scare people.. hide it in their closet, etc. I think that would be fun.

Points to anyone who knows who I ripped off the first two options from.

Either cremated or buried. I'm already dead, so there's no point in worrying about my corpse. It's being an organ donor that worries me, I guess.

Although I feel that it makes a lot more sense to be cremated, I plan to be buried in my family cemetery in Mo. I picked out my own plot when I was about 11. We paid for it just to make sure the spot is reserved next to where my immediate family will be buried. By age 30 I hope to have my gravestone picked out and the ornamentation figured out so I can have exactly what I want.

The coolest grave marker I've ever seen was a full size couch made out of stone. I don't remember the wording of the engraving, but the deceased wanted to be visited, and they wanted to have their visitors be as comfortable as possible. :)

Edit: I'm an organ donor and very happy about that decision. I hope that when I die, my death can bring something good to someone else, even if it's just an extra year being alive. It seems wasteful not to be an organ donor.

I want to be put in a casket with my eyes facing up and right, towards any visitors that would come to my funeral, with my right pointer finger pointing in their direction, so that when my friends come with their kids, and their kids say to them 'daddy he's pointing at me!', my friends can say 'That's right son, he's coming for YOU!'

This is exactly what I've been thinking for years, except I would want to have it filled with a mixture of lead shot and my ashes, along with some shredded sponge. I would will the footbag resting item over to my kid(s), who will hopefully use the bag only for tournaments and special jams. It would be called, "The Dad Bag". 55 grams of pure life essence, filler, and fabric. The only problem is when I'd get some use, they'd have to wash me and then they'd get dear ol' Dad all over their hands  Cool. Actually planning on following through with this.

Hmm... Well, it doesn't really matter all that much cuz I'll be dead, and people will do whatever they want without my protest, cuz I'll be dead... However, I don't want a big stupid funeral with some priest or whatever telling my closest friends and family about me. I'm not religious whatsoever. I want nothing to do with church or clergy. I don't want to be buried because it's just a waste of land and money. Blow my ass up, feed me to wolves, throw me in the ocean, I don't care. Just keep me the hell out of the church and out of the ground. I don't need some stupid stone to have people remember me. I don't care if I'm remembered or not.

Here are some of my favorite ways to dispose of a body:

-Turn your ashes into diamonds (we do contain a lot of carbon after all)

-Have your ashes turned into a replacement for the declining coral reefs; it helps revitalize that entire ecosystem
Image

-Have your body liquefied then fertilize a tree

-Have your ashes included with fireworks and go out with a bang

-Have your ashes turned into pencil lead

-Have your ashes painted into a piece of art

It's also interesting to read about what human cadavers used to be used for, like crash-test dummies and testers for military ammunition. The book Death's Acre tells the story of The Body Farm: a place where a few crazy (awesome) scientists decided to figure out the rate of decomposition of human bodies in different settings (underground, underground when it's wet, underground in places where there are different insects and bacteria, in a plastic bin, etc) because at that point police were finding bodies and just guessing how long the person had been dead. It's really amazing to find out how individuals figured out the foundations that we now take for granted.

Well of course Hunter S Thompson had is ashes turned in to fireworks and had them shot out of a 150 foot cannon.

I wouldn't mind a Tibetan sky burial - basically getting fed to vultures. Or humans, that would be cool, but only if it was without their knowledge, and then they were told just after eating me.

Props to Johnny Depp for making that happen... talk about being the right guy at the right time...

I want to my body fed to a pack of ravenous wild dogs... assuming my toxicity at that time hasn't made me indigestible.

I'll lay down in the middle of the street right before I know I'm going to die, with a cardboard sign that says "please resuscitate".
