Milan Benda, who won the championships on a bum ankle with a dropless routine, and showed everyone how to celebrate afterwards

The Party it up award part 2.
Dan Boyle, for always telling me, "your running low" and handing me another no matter how many beers were in front of me during the countless updating and writing done during Worlds.

The "Did that just happen award"
Nick Landes Semifinal Routine

That's awesome you took the time to do this. I appreciate hearing any details from worlds so you forgot 1..

The passion award.. To Fade2black. For caring enough for others that weren't able to make it to worlds ... to give them a better insight into the day to day perils in the heat of battle... stalking wi-fi and frantically editing for the mere hopes that just 1.. maybe just 2.. people.. .. will enjoy the hard work that he and all the others attending went through to put on what sounds like one unfucking real time!!! > Thank you very much for the updates and the great footage.. I'm eating up every second I can find...!!!

I just wish I would of skipped US champs for worlds.. 8O ..

Norek won 41 USD and I went out on a mission to beat his record the next day at the poker table with 45 USD cashing out.

Side note: I noticed I started losing when I didn't have any of the blowjob chips. Chrissy and Tuukka were too much of a match for me.

Think maybe you should add the quest to watch UFC 117, and the frustration that came with it. Only to experience the most dramatic on your feet UFC fight for Silva. With the end of the fight Phil Morrison going "This is getting boring" only for the finale and everyone on their feet screaming and cheering!

bj chips.... no explanation would do them justice

The quest for the ufc started with us trying to order it on the hotels PPV...
when that fell through we called 20 bars looking for it but no one was doing it. At this Barrett was rounding up the troops so we could all split the cost.

Once we found out this wasnt going to happen we attempted to see if the hotels high end dsl would let us stream with a projector from downstairs. after two laptops, 20 wires, and the projector Chang managed to get it all working.

Aside from finding out that Chang knew more about computers then the Marriot Technical support staff, and having him say to the the technician (AS I TOLD YOU, WE TRIED THAT.... AND THAT .... AND THAT) his rage came out, we figured out, and saw one of the best fights in the past decade. Phil Morrison, the legend, wasnt really into the fight until the split second finish happened, and after a full minute of screaming and yelling running around... we were all spent...

I lost a year of my life in the 20 minutes leading up to that event, and then another year at the end.... but it was all worth it and I would do it again, so long as I have Ianek commentating as GSP :)

I almost ripped Barret's face off, when he handed me the phone :) (not really he's such a chill guy). But I HATE HATE HATE tech support, really I have so many bad stories (and I know I'm not the only one).

I know Barret was filming me :) we should get that shit online.

Nice one Dale!!

I have to add The Last man standing award
Dylan Fry, for his epic 8 hour night shred. What a machine!

And as much as I'd love to hijack this post with a bunch more personal awards, I'll resist the urge and instead just leave you with one more.
It goes to a non-footbagger; the girl at the checkout of the Smart & Final across the road from the event site. The first time I bought a bottle of Jack Daniels there, she asked me for ID. I showed her my Australian Drivers Licence, which really isn't much different to a licence from anywhere else in the world...

The "Classic question of the week" award
For studying my licence for a while, before pointing to the expiry date (sometime in 2013), and asking me "Is that your date of birth?". 8O

Brilliant.

Caroline ... the poor smart and final people mustve felt bombarded by the constant shred contingent going in there...

I would love to hear your awards, I am sure there are plenty of things I missed or forgot!
