In general I think voting along geopolitical boundaries for an international sport competition is BS. I hope we aren't talking about that.

I'm also against lowering a players score because of their posts in the discussion session. I hope we aren't talking about that too.

Certainly, I hope not judges are raising score for people because of their politics, that would be lame. Again, I hope we aren't talking about that.

The edits where about trolling (which was not welcome in this thread), PMs were sent out and all parties agreed to edit their posts.

I'd say it's a victory against trolling and it worked! Sorry you missed all the action.

Basically this topic is dead, so we are letting it die. We have enough respect for those involved that we agree to just let it be.

I too was really pissed off about the politics at worlds this year. For those who weren't at worlds, what happened was bribery of the judges. It was blatant disregard for sportsmanship and makes me sick to my stomach. I remember when there was honor in footbag. It's sad that our sport has gone down this path.
