I should get like money ever time you hit symple guybas.

Get knee surgery as soon as you can if you think you need it. You've waited long enough for that shit to just heal. It's all up to you.

me, lonnie and Doug played earlier it was pretty fun.

hope to chill sunday.

Oh hey, we have a blog.

Way to be consistent Pete, I thought those were highlights from todays session until I looked at the date.

Random highlights from past month or so:
-pixie merlin
-voodoo
-ducking merlin
-dod, paradon, barfly all bsos with one blurriest
-zulu clip>mobius bsos
-drifter>vortex>rpt 5 contacts
-flip ps whirl 7/10 tries
-spin duck clip>gyro dive clip>rpt (probably crowning)

There's probably other stuff, but that's not important. The important thing is that footbag is a lot of fun right now and I'm starting to want to get good again, so we'll see how long that lasts. Maybe I can hit mobius b2b soon and hopefully film some stuff.

the video from the PA trip is up.

not calling anyone out specifically because there really isnt anyone to call out anyway, especially since the 4 or so people that read this blog arent guilty of this, but i remember in the days before modified SUCKED and comments would pile up even for weak videos, with lots of feedback and discussions of whether moves were clean or not. makes me not want to spend hours editing stuff that people dont watch/comment on.
the baton twirling thread has more replies than the video you posted. which, btw, i appreciate that you made that video. It's fun for me to be able to show friends and family etc.

 did you watch the baton twirling though? that shiz was seriously intense haha. but no i know exactly what you mean...making videos for the community is a thing of the past unless youre from fin/pol-land, french circus, or named Jay Clavens. but its cool because my friends and family definitely have grown an appreciation for footbag, and its becoming easier and easier to show them videos with new technology. especially cool when other people are in it from other places, almost like the video is a single point representation of the meeting of our individual footbag timelines. ha ships passing in the night.

Had a sesh with Pete yesterday. We both played pretty well. One run I remember in particular form Pete involved infinity swirl, smog, whirr, and bigwalk all midstring I think. I hit a lot of gyro diving, weaving, ducking and zulu but my favorite highlight was diving butter>ducking butter>rpt x2>weaving butter>zulu butter>rpt>string. At the end of the session the insides of my knees were in a lot of pain so I figured I'd take the next few days off...

But today was so god damn nice out that I just had to play. I solo'd for an hour then saw a text from Tristan and took an hour break then played another hour with Tristan. Dude's getting good. He hit clipper>pickup bs, ducking clipper b2b, osis x 5 or 6 and a bunch of other stuff. But I was most impressed by mirage>legover>rpt. He hit that rpt 4 or 5 times which was really cool and was trying to add another mirage to the combo by the end of the session. If he keeps up this progression he'll be hitting rubbberman in no time.

As for me, I played in my nukes today thinking I'd be soloing the whole time so it'd be good for training. I actually played a lot better than I expected. As most of you who read this blog already know, I HATED playing in the nukes when I first got them, simply because I couldnt string worth shit. But now, I guess I've just gotten acclimated to them cause I was stringing 10-15 contacts fairly consistently (which is normal for me cuz I suck anyway  ) Anyhway, the one highlight that stuck out to me was gyro diving clipper and spin duck clipper both bsos sealed with mobius. I also hit matador and footed barfry, so suck it Kevin! :P All in all, a good session. See you fools Sunday.

Played with Ben Little today. We got pumped up beforehand by watching your video.

Hey Bowler, been thinking about becoming a locksmith. What was your route to where you are now? Going to buy a set of picks, tension rods, and practice locks soon.

Had a session with Tristan just now. Mostly just worked tiltless stuff and some stepping. However I did have one new highlight:
-pdx torque bsos
Bout time.

The real highlight was Tristan. Dude hit 10 consecutive clippers strong side and then 10 consecutive muted clippers on his flip! And if that wasn't enough, right as we were about to leave, he takes a bag and hits 17 muted clippers flipside! Dude's gonna be nasty.

good stuff.

in hogan news I take of my brace monday. I hit big tricks every so often, even hit some new stuff i'm really pumped to work on when I'm back but I've reached a point where i'm sick of being injured and just want to heal so i've been taking it easy. Still have another month or so of healing left.

Going to start college monday which is near revere where I can jump on the blue line and session up in boston once i'm back at a presentable level.

oh and more people should be afraid of Doug Tank, he was laying shit down at that session off camera that was insane. don't be thrown off by his virginy white boy apperance. I only say this because most of his best shit was off camera.

be easy
