25th (and Last!) Funtastik Summer Classic '10

thanks to everyone who organized, competed, attended, or just stopped on the street to check out the sport! this was my first funtastiks and i had an awesome time! there were lots of familiar faces, and lots of new ones too!

late night 4 square was tons of fun as always, it was pretty cool getting to kick with the younguns of legendary descent. watch out, in a couple years they will be unstoppable!

I was recording for Nick Polini and I got all of the intermediate prelim and final routines, I think. He should have it if you get in touch with him.

Props on competing in routines -- you did really well! I don't think my nerves would have let me do it, even if I was prepared.

I had a great time playing with all you guys, meeting new friends, and rocking out with the Funtastik band during circle comp! Thanks to Jay B for suggesting that we play some gypsy style!

My favorite moment of the competition was when David finished up another awesome dropless routine, and Joe S said "well, that caps it off for 25 years of competition"!

That was definitely a moment of reckoning...

What a great tournament.

Can't wait to invade the beaver next year!!!

(Brenda actually used the phrase "invade the beaver" in reference to us all going out there together at least 3 or 4 times before I made a crude comment about it. Can't believe that she seemed surprised...)
