Some of the entries here are a surprise to me. Is it possible to make an educated guess on what percentage of the fans are freestylers?

I can tell that from those 74 Bulgarians there are maximum of 12 freestylers and 20 net players, of which serious - 5 freestlylers and 6 net. All others are friends and friends of friends...you know

When people show interest in footbag, or when I show them videos, one question I get all the time is: who plays footbag? In the past, I responded based on my perception of the sport. That is, I'd tell them that over 95% of people who play footbag are teenage white males. Part of the reason I am doing this survey, is to try and get a more accurate sense of what the average freestyler is like. I'd like to get a sense of whether or not the average footbag freestyler is indeed the way I imagine him, and the way to do so is by asking these questions. Based on my perception, I feel like footbag is one of the most racially homogenous sports out there. If it weren't for team Japan, I could literally count the number of active non-white freestyle players on both hands. Erik Chan, Eric Chang, Waylon Lew, Manna Mpepo...maybe on one hand. I think its fair game to ask what race players are.

I think it is a totally fair question to ask and I understand why you are asking it. I just don't think it matters that it is mostly white people who play this sport. It's still racial statistics and I hate that stuff. Still, I wanted to participate in your poll and I thought my opinion was worth sharing.
