Thanks dude, and sadly I'll only be at worlds. My parents wouldn't let me take the time off work for both haha.
And yeah, I still have that bag. It's in pretty good condition. I still play use it every now and then. I was already planning on bringing it to worlds haha. I'll have to get back to you about a custom bag though. I'm pretty good on bags for the time being, but my mind may change over the next couple weeks.
I guess if I'm to have any hope of hitting that challenge, I'll need to school my drifters like a mofo. Sounds good to me! Thanks again.
Today I started to shake the rust off my routine. Yeah, it's a bit late to just be starting to work on it again, but I at least have a pretty good foundation on it. Looks like the next 3 weeks will be chock full of drifters and routines lol

Had two legit sessions today. Booyah.
Session 1 was mostly working on drifters to work towards Cale's challenge
highlights:
- stepping mirage > open near mirage > dimwalk > rpt
- one run with clipper near drifter, toe far drifter, and toe near drifter all bsos
- pdx drifter bs
- smoke bs
(mixing lingo lol)
Session 2 was double downs and routines.
highlights:
- 7 contacts of paradon > pdx mirage > rpt
- paradon > pdx illusion > rpt
- paradon > ripwalk bs (never stepped out of it before)
- DOD bsos (never did it before)
- ripwalk > barfly bsos with the toe kick seal
- blurriest bs (flip was new)
I finally figured out a good way to do a certain section of my routine that was always kinda awkward. I couldn't fit the part in with the music, but now I can while adding a new element
I just wish I had double session days more often. Today was awesome

Today was another double session day. Tried to kick yesterday, but only got through the warmup.
I can't actually remember the highlights of either one, but I just know I was very happy again with both. Although, my routine practice was a bit eh. I'm pretty sure with a barrel of imported elbow grease, I'll be able to pull it together in time. That elbow grease shit ain't cheap.
edit: actually I do remember some highlights. I hit near, far, and stepping ss "osis rake." This is something I'll have to perfect so that it's not a spazzing pickup. The second highlight was sonic near clipper one side. Footed the other. Yay whacky spinning move

I didn't get to kick like friday-monday. It was rough. But ever so luckily, I kicked yesterday and today.
I'll premise this by saying that my sister got me up yesterday morning at 7 am to do a session of the Insanity workout with her. That thing is pretty crazy, but very doable. I later kicked at like 12 after sleeping some more. Pretty good session. Got stuff like:
- schmoe > plo > pixie ss clipper > rpt and ripwalk > sidewalk > rpt in one run
- torque bsos
- routine practice
.
Then last night, while watching Youth in Revolt, courtesy of RedBox, I noticed I was getting sore. When I woke up, I was really, really sore lol. Luckily, soreness goes away when the body is warmed up. So, thank you body for not sucking indefinitely. Today I got some shizzle like:
- symp bubba and flail both bsos
- 32 contact string
- overheating before I could do routine practice
.
Oh wait, overheating isn't a highlight. That just means I'm a n00b, not drinking enough water.
I'm still internally debating as to whether or not I should have a session tonight by setting up as many lights as I can outside. When I started writing this post, I was really inclined not to, but as I finish up here, it is sounding more appealing. Hmmm. I'm still quite, quite sore, but I really need to practice my routine. Hmmm.

Past two days have been happiness + frustration
Combined happiness:
- ripwalk > sidewalk > rpt x2
- whirl war x2
- ripped warrior
- pdx drifter bsos with a vortex (dropped the sauce)
Combined frustration:
- routines
- routines
Oh well, it's still getting there. I know I'm actually making progress, so I'll take it.

Thanks duder.
So yesterday and today were decently interesting days. I hit some easier drills i never thought to hit, and I'm finally having my slight breakthrough with routines lol. Better late than never, right?
Random drills in DS:
- toe near down > near osis > stepping far mirage > rpt
- " " > stepping far illusion > rpt
- " " > stepping near switch > rpt
- " " > stepping near pickup > rpt
And today I hit my sick 3 and sick link for the online comps. However, after further review, the sick link is far from clean enough. Thus, i'll only be submitting the sick 3 this time around.

This is the first time I've let my blog go onto the second page in a very long time. Well anyway, WORLDS, was amazing, as expected. I competed horribly lol, but i don't care at this juncture. I might've played way too much throughout the week. A couple of the days throughout, I had some legitimate pain in my shins and legs. Luckily that more or less went away towards the end. I also had massive knee pain if I sat with my legs bent longer than like 5 minutes. That did not go away, and I have a doctor's appointment in like 2 hours for it. Moral of the story: I couldn't be happier that I went
Today's session was my first since worlds. I used my mesh lavers. The warmup was going well until I started doing infinities. I all of a sudden got a brand new pain in my right shin. It was one that I've never felt before. It was always when doing a left clipper move. Toe moves were fine. I should probably bring this up to the doctor as well
At least I got switch > near switch > rpt x 110 contacts > hand catch. Only got mirage > near mirage > rpt x 51 contacts. I called it a day after that.

I think this was the "longest" I've gone without playing. 16 days? Something like that. I really needed, my knees to heal a bit. Speaking of which, they got x-rayed and everything is fine, luckily. I'm grateful for that.
Today I didn't really drill or anything, I just wanted to play for a bit. Drilling will come after Funtastiks. Stayed on tiltless for quite a while just to get acclimated. Then once I moved back onto guiltless, all my strings were short, but here are the highlights:
- pdx dlo bsos
- stepping ss whirl bsos
- pixie ss whirl bsos
I'll take it. My knees are essentially pain free, and that's what matters I guess lol
Funtastiks 2 days!

Thanks dude!
Funtastiks was awesome, as expected. I felt like I played well for only having played a couple times since worlds. I for some reason even felt more confident with my shred. However, my knees, while feeling nicely better for the most part, decided to be nice and tender by the end of the weekend. I'll have to wait a bit more before I get back into it.
I wanna play so so badly. So badly. I'm done with class every day by 1 PM. That leaves a whole forever each day to play. But, my knees need their time. Lame sauce.
Felt cool to hit quantum ss whirl though lol, which might've helped lead to my silly knee. Oh well
I love college

Played last night and today. Both were good sessions overall I guess. Last night I just wanted to hit cool stuff cause I was in that kind of mood.
Last night highlights:
- a bunch of DODs bs to start strings
- barfly first try each side
- spun out of drifters and toe whirls fairly easily (this is actually pretty hard for me)
- ended with spinning pdx whirl bsos
Today I drilled more so, like a good boy
highlights:
- 23 contacts of duck clip > spin clip > rpt. Gotta work that way more
- ripwalk > blur > legbeater > rpt
- rubberman
- tripwalk and legbeater both bsos with a dimwalk
- parkwalk and dimwalk both bsos first try
My knees are still bothering me a bit, but I think I'm good enough to get on a weekly playing schedule again. I guess I will find out soon enough whether that's true or not lol.

Just had a really legit session. I finally got off my lazy ass and hit some drills I suck at which I should've hit long, long ago. Some of this stuff I've done before, but I definitely need to do it more often.
Highlights:
- infinity > swirl > rpt
- infinity > twist > rpt
- twist x2 bs
- flip swirl x2 and strong swirl x4
- infinity > symp whirl > rpt
- symp whirl x2 bs
- swirl > ripwalk, twist > ripwalk, and symp whirl > ripwalk all bs
- ripwalk x20
The symp whirl stuff and the ripwalks were huuuuuuge for me. Before today, I've never hit more than 8 consecutive ripwalks. 8. Only 8. But today, after 2 or 3 tries I got to 13 was crazy surprised. But, I obviously couldn't settle for such an awkward number like that. So maybe 2 or 3 tries later, BAM, 20. Holy sack. I know in the grand scheme of things that 20 isn't a lot by any means, but it just felt so so nice to finally do that.
I'm pretty sure I can attribute the symp whirl stuff and stepping upgrades to stuff I learned at worlds. When thinking about both tricks, I thought about them completely wrong. But thanks to stuff like the DC tutorial, and later Corey Allen tips on symp whirl, life is good again, and it makes sense.
Yay.

Haha thanks, Nick.
The nice part of tonight's < 1 hour session was more symp whirl work. This resulted with symp whirl bsos very easily a couple times, a ps whirl bsos, and symp whirling swirl bs (the only actual new thing tonight). The symp whirling swirls almost came kinda easily too. They felt niftidy diftidy.
