cannot find any hacky sacks sans internet

Post by Elliott »

there aren't any retail stores (in metro nashville at least) that sell hacky sacks anymore. how is this sport ever supposed to grow if you cannot even walk into a store & buy one? do i have to go to a head shop to get a bag? how cliche is that? i personally blame that jackass who invented the mini-soccer ball for the demise of retail footbag.

academy sports - 0/1
dick's sporting goods - 0/1
hibbetts sporting goods - 0/1
target - 0/2
wal-mart - 0/2
k-mart - 0/2

I noticed that zumiez has a few different footbags. Hero 32's sandmasters and crochets. Pretty good selection for hackers. Zumiez are in a lot of malls now, even ours in corpus christi, tx.

can anyone think of any other chain stores that carry footbags?

i'm going to keep searching & adding non-footbag stores onto my list. this should not be an impossible task.

Don't two really renowned stitchers live in Nashville?

if nashville does or does not have "renowned stitchers", that's not really the question i'm asking. besides holly moved to chicago & brian yo-yo's, banjos, myachis, or whatever he's into now.

the point of this topic is - at what retail store can someone purchase a footbag who has never even heard of it before? the city is irrelevant, but it would be nice if i were able to purchase one locally.
