problem with lavers... need some help!

Hi guys... I need some help here...
I've researched a lot on modified and followed all the instructions given on how to remove the Laver's insole . I poured hot water and used a blow dryer, but it's still glued to the shoes.

I've been removing chunk by chunk with a plier, but it's taking me forever.

I was just wondering if that's normal... from what I've read it didn't sound like people had a hard time removing it from the shoes...
I wonder if mine is over glued or something.

I've been using it for almost 3 months now. Here's the photo:

I've poured boiling water for two days now and used a hair dryer for an hour... but it's still really glued to the shoe...
Any tips?

Take a razorblade, slice in to the side where u pulled the sole off with the pliers. Cut it off the best you can like your skinning a hide. Once u get the majority off wrap sand paper around a small block of wood an sand the remander out.. Use very grity sand paper. The rougher the less effort it takes. I never had luck with the hot water or blow drying so I do it this way, it works really well, the new the shoe the easyer it is. Hope this helps you.

I started to think that I did something wrong.
By the time I read your reply I got most chunks out of the way, but the last touch was the sand paper.
Luckily my roommate is a Industrial designer. She has some great sand paper and files.

Sorry to be reposting again, but I just wanted to point out something about the insoles for newcomers like myself.

I just got a second pair of lavers on ebay and this one had the insoles barely glued to the bottom.
I took it all out by hand, in a few seconds and without breaking the insoles.
The difference between the 2 lavers was huge! As you can see in the picture below, the insoles are perfectly intact.

That means that one day you might get lavers with extra glued insoles and that's a pain in the ass.

The only information that I could find, using the search engine, was to use boiling water and a blow dryer, which I guess it only works for "weak" glued insoles.
If you have the super glued lavers, like I did, then I you'll need to use sand paper, pliers or something else.

Any new tips to remove extra glued insoles are welcomed.
If that kind of post already exists, please ignore it and/or delete this post.

Nice red. My first pair was red an they stoped making them.. My feet are to big to find a pair
