I'm really happy that you're playing regularly again. I'm almost getting a lump in my froat thinking about it.

I wouldn't switch to quantums, because if you actually like them it really sucks when you can't get new pairs any more.

blender - vortex bs
pdx whirl - spin whirl bs

pdx blender - ddd
pdx blender - gyro whirl

10/4/10
played in the garage becasue it was too cold for outside, garage was also too cold too. I need to get a heater for it.
worked on quantum a lot, still suck at it.
toe blender - gyro mirage - drifter - ripwalk bs
schmoe - pixie ss clip bsos
tripwalk bs
toe blur bsos

10/5/10
gyro whirl - pdx drifter - run - drop on gyro whirl - pdx drifter on flip
spin osis - dive clip - rpt - duck clip - gyro osis - rpt
flip motion (maybe new, ugly as hell)

I feel I am getting more consistent, and making my string longer. With more genuine links and lots of uniqueness to the run, and not so many rpts.

I gave Nathan a call today, we talked for about 1.5 hours before we both decided that we should go shred.

I had a lazy session where I didn't really try anything too hard. Just worked on long string and smooth runs.

Spinning, Ducking, Diving, and Gyro, Clipper, Butterfly, Osis, Legover, Mirage, Illusion, Pickup, all bs. This is something I do about once a week just to work on fundamentals and helps with form on other tricks. I usually pick a component and do all the variations of that (gyro mirage, spin mirage, duck mirage, etc.) I did that today, but I was able to bsos each concept. So all the mirages, then all the clippers, then all the legovers, etc.

I also hit ducking osis - diving osis - rpt. Which is a drill I have school lots but don't think I have ever hit.

gyro gyro toe bs (cool trick)

at the end of the session I hit something I have never done before and what I thought I would never be able to do.
double atw both ways both sides. I was shocked, and ashamed.

Yo I just hit the reverse of the drill you showed me. ss muted rev swirl>gyro pickup>rpt and I footed the last contact of ss muted swirl>gyro leg>rpt. Thanks for the inspiration.

Also, had an awesome time chilling with you this past weekend! Happy holidays.

Doug: Awesome drill man, I think its was harder than the normal swirl version. I can't even get half of that drill.

Math: It was a lot of fun getting to kick with you too! If your ever driving through Michigan on your way somewhere in the states hit me up.

NYJ was a blast like always. Its been too long to do write up, which I wasn't planning on anyway.

I have only played a half dozen times since NYJ. I took a week of after because my neck was all sore, then just started to get busy with work.

When I have played, I have been playing well. Lots of control and consistency. Been working on a couple of new things, but nothing worth posting.

I'm in Florida right now visiting Ashley D. We had a short session yesterday after some 2-square and we are supposed to play sometime today but its been raining. I'm gonna try and make her do a 1-shot and film the session, but she hardly plays anymore so we will see...

Yesterday playing with her I hit some good stuff in a short 45 minutes session

blurry whirl-ps whirl-spin whirl bsos
stepping whirl-blender-pdx whirl-blurry whirl bs
mobius bsos
vortex bsos
flurry
pdx whirling swirl bs (flip was new)

TJ gave me this challenge over the summer.

And another decent repeat from last nights session

Note that I never play in Quantums. Since I got these black quantum 2's this is maybe the 8th or 9th time ive playing in them.
