actually in the very unlikely possibility that montrealers drive there by car, I would come

plane tickets are ridiculously too expensive for me these days

Depending on the situation with the rest of the crew from toledo, i really would love to stick around Chicago a little beyond the event.

I'll do everything I can to come to NYJ but I also agree with Mathieu GM - making it 18-20th is WAAAAY better for us students. I don't know my exam schedule yet but it might go right up until the 23rd :/ it all depends on exams. The later the better for me and I really hope to make it.

Pre-Christmas is SUCH a better time than, like, the day after... I hope I can make it. I don't remember if it was last year or the year before that I went. The date always confuses me, since it's held on the New Year (never sure if the year is for the year just ending or the year just beginning, if that makes sense...)

That would be ideal for me too. But it's too early for me to plan anything. I'll have to see closer to then.
Hopefully I can get FAT on board. They are too tournament-deprived!

Nice Holls, hecky yeah.
Regardless of Scott's .org event post, the shred room isn't secured for the 17th, so the 17th isn't confirmed. 18-19 is. 17 or 20th or both maybe, to be determined this week.

Wow, that's a really badass first post. Nice work Holly! I'm going to try and make it, but no guarantees just yet. I might have a lot of stuff to juggle around then, and unsure of vacation time.

The last two ones were a blast though. I recommend them without qualification or hesitation. If you can go, fucking go.

I say time shift 1 day forward to accommodate students better.
As for a locked site? Don't worry, if we can't secure a shred room, we'll just go to Navy Pier.

Anyone potentially driving out to this from the NY area?

Awwww yeah! Last exam Dec. 16th. I am SO going to this!

Is anyone in the northeast driving there? Chances are it'll be cheaper to meet you somewhere (unless you happen to drive through Boston) on the way to Chicago and pitch in for gas than to take a plane.

Also, sick layout/design on the first page. It's so professional!

I will be there!

this will be my 5th or 6th one in a row. Hopefully I don't break anything before then so I can actually play footbag this time.
