NYJ would be IT. Matt, saw your most recent video (I think) Some sick stuff. Your style is rockin'. I feel like you and I play very similarly, lots of spinning legovers....haha.

Played two days ago. Rolled my left ankle on Pdx Illusion. It's feeling better now though, so I'm going to try playing tomorrow.....maybe.....expect a video soon.....maybe......

Played today, hit some good stuff for me. Namely:

Fog>dimwalk>rpt

Stepping getting way easier, so throwing blurry whirls midstring is becoming normal for me. So I guess...woohoo footbag's fun!

merry christmas everyone. Had a nice christmas session.
did some genuine work, got an at least 12 contact a genuine string with some various 4's and 5's thrown in. Lots of fun. Here are highlights:

Legbeater>blurry whirl>blur>rpt effortlessly

Tap>toe blur>rpt

Atom>slapdown>rpt

Looking forward to more sessions in the future.

Played with Cale in the cold wetness of a government buildings shadow. Our only protection from rain was a steel awning, and our light source left more to be desired.

Highlights: Not many.

Pixie Barrage bsos mid shuffle

Stepped out of pixie ss whirl on both sides mid shuffle

Rolled left ankle on blur. Not as bad as previous times, still incites cursing.

That's about it. Was fun while it lasted, first time I really felt the moves I've been working the last 6 months click and start to work. Filmed a bit to critique style. Is looking good.

Thanks,

after a laborious drive to Vancouver, Washington, I tested my ankle and decided it felt ok enough to have a sesh. Light on left clipper stuff of course. I couldn't find space in surrounding motel 6 area, so just flipped my bed up against the wall and went at it. Had three sick highlights.

Smog>Pixie ss DLO>Rpt

Atomic Whirl (reactor?)>ripwalk>blur>rpt

Blurry torque bs

(edit) remembered that a couple sessions ago I got:

Smog>Pixie paradon>Fog

I was only focusing on short and dense, trying to give my ankle somewhat of a rest. Tomorrow if I get the chance (and my ankle is willing) I'll see if I can get anything taped. Would be fun to put something new up.

Thanks,

Eoghan

Drove with my dad up to Castle Rock, Washington, to help him move to his new place and new job. On the way I got some footbag, and filmed a little video with my super cool new phone (though the quality of the footage is below average). Hope you enjoy the video.

There was a song to this video, but it was removed immediately. So if you want tunage just play something of your own. Thanks.

(edit) Apparently the music works, at least in this embedded video. Who knows. It may stop working though. We shall see.

Had a session last night. Worked lots of shuffle variety. Only real highlight was an 18 or so contact run of stepping, pixie, fairy, and atomic shuffle. Hit some other stuff as well, but I'm getting worried about my ankles and knees. Probably shouldn't have decided to keep playing on a rolled ankle session after session. Maybe time for a break. It comes at a bad time though, as my style I feel is finally reaching a new level, a new standard for myself. Anyhow, guess that's just the way it goes sometimes.

It's nice to be posting here again.

It's been awhile. I still play, pretty much everyday.

Recent cool stuff.

Rubberman mid string, no problem

Rev Whirr and normal Whirr bsos in one run

Dimwalk>Rev. Whirr>Pdx Illusion>Rpt

Blurry Whirl>PS Whirl BS

Many bsos Ripsteins

Osis>Mobious BS

My endurance is shit, but I've been really getting into spinning and ducking, 'specially zooming. It's fun.

Dont post in here a lot, but I had an awesome sesh that I was really excited about. I hit:

Smear>ss DLO>Rpt>x2

Bubba Beater bsos

Whirl War 2 (Second time ever)

Spinning PS Whirl

Spinning Ducking pdx Whirl

Bedwetter bs

Eggbeater>Toe Whirl>Blur>Rpt

My endurance is still poop smelly fuck suck, but its on its way back to nice happy good yay.

I hate playing in the late afternoon! The sun is just at the perfect height to be shooting straight into my eyes. I bet that's why sometimes in my sessions with Cale there's inconsistencies at different points between the two of us. Different hieghts, different solar breaking points.

Anyway, I did hit some good stuff today. Notably:

Pixie DLO>PLO>rpt>Pixie Eggbeater>PLO>rpt

Rubberman>Blubberman

Fairy muted ss legover>pixie ss Whirl>stepping ss mirage>rpt

That's pretty much it though. The first two are HUGE for me, and the third one just...meh...

Hope everyone is enjoying the wanning summer days, farewell cruel heat!

So, here's a couple highlights from my last couple sessions:

Montage

Ps Whirl, Tomahawk, and Spinning Pdx Whirl all BSOS in one run

Pixie Ducking Legover>handcatch x10 without dropping the bag both sides.

Toe Grifter and Tomahawk BSOS in one run.

Stepping ss Whirl>PS Whirl bs

I feel like I'm actually getting kind of good at footbag. Finally :P.

Even though this is a footblog, I'm going to talk about non-footbag things for a second. I got into an Opera Workshop that focuses on duets and theater, as well as singing. It's funny cause I'm the only person in the workshop who has literally NO Opera experience. Yay me I guess!

Also, I've been playing lots of video games lately, and the weird thing is that I think I'm a computer gamer now. I have been converted from consoles I guess. But if nanyone plays games like Borderlands, Or Dead Island, it would be cool to play those games with some fellow footbaggers.

Take care world.

So it's been quite a long time since I've been on here. So long in fact I had to make a new profile to post because I can't remember the email I used when I registered back in '07 :P.

Either way, I'm back, and I thought I'd say hello. AND that I played today. It's been a really, really long time since I've pushed myself in Footbag, but I'm so happy I picked up the old lavers and jumped back in.

Highlight:

Pixie Double Legover>Pixie ss Double Legover>Rpt. Sealed with a hand catch.

P.S. That new Evan Gatesman video is totes cray cray.

Yo, gan! Never met you, but you were around for a little bit when I joined modified. Was bummed you quit when you did, because your have really inspired me to learn a lot of interesting concepts... Like solstice (sole Osis), artic sets, and other stuff like that. Glad you're back in action :-) really hoping to meet you at some point. You picked a good year to come back.. Apparently, 2014 is a huge come back year for many players who quit. Looking forward to keeping up with this blog
