Bike Mechanicy Question...

Post by WyrmFyre »

Can anyone offer any advice for disassembling, cleaning and re-assembling the front fork suspension on a mountain bike. I recently bough a new bike second hand. Initially the front suspension was frozen solid with rust, but some WD40 has sorted that out (as recommended by local bike shop). Now however I can hear the rust and grit scratching on the shafts. Im confident in my ability to weild spanners and hex keys, but either information on doing this is thin on the internet, or im not searching the right terms.

Thanks in advance!
