Yep that's the decision we've made in Australia too. You have to weigh up your resources and the effort the people hosting the event are prepared to put in, and come up with something that works best for what you have. It's better to have low key tournaments than no tournaments at all.

Re: Worlds 2011. There hasn't been a WOC vote yet, but I'm calling it as Helsinki. Appears to be almost certain.

Each year it gets worse and worse, the announcement as to where worlds will be takes longer and longer...

Is it official for Helsinki? Would be nice to know...

I believe most of you received the announce e-mail from IFPA. On behalf of Worlds 2011 Freestyle Organizing Team I want to welcome you all to Finland next summer :) It will be super fun!

Then little extra info about the dates:

The dates are not locked yet, so hold your horses and DO NOT buy you tickets just yet. We still need a confirmation from the city that we are actually getting the venue we want for the week we want.

Expect more information soon.
