Greetings footbaggers,

I'm happy to introduce to the community a little project that I have been working on for a few weeks that will hopefully expand into something bigger soon:

The East Coast Kick

It's an online magazine/blog that focuses on the East Coast (duh!) but will have a wider lens as well. I hope to fill its pages with videos, interviews, and articles covering all aspects of the sport.

The latest post is a KICKASS 3 video from Mat GM!

Over the next few weeks, content should be trickling in from me and other players as well. Hopefully, new posts will be surfacing a few times a week.

I'm looking for feedback, both on content and the website design. I'm also sending out an invitation to players from all over the world to contact me if you want to add something to the site â€” writing, video, design, whatever.

Some people might see this and think, "Why not just post this stuff on modified?" My answer is that I want to concentrate on longer posts than message boards usually feature, and represent footbag on more websites across the web. Plus, I need experience with publishing online, since I am studying Journalism in college.

Thx for the website! East coast definitly need more visiblity now. We lost few awsome players like Ken, Dave and Scott recently!

Hmm, maybe I should have just said "jam". No competition, and mostly net.

I was not in attendance but it looked like a very relaxing weekend.

Hey, I just read that interview between Ken and Dave, and wanted to say thanks for posting it. I'm really enjoying this EC Kick (despite its founder... Nate *shudders*)

So quite clearly my dedication to this website dropped substantially and I'm not sure when I'll next be able to re-up to the level of involvement I had been at. Hopefully everyone will still enjoy reading a post every now and again, even if I can't promise that they'll come regularly.
