blizzard> toe grifter> flux> pdx grifter> grifter rpt
pdx grifter> grifter rpt
spinnin ducking pdx grifter
gyro grifter> vortex
blizzard> smudge> quantom grifter rpt

Yeah... I didnt come close to any of those plus my best ss illusion thing of the day was like 8. My best string was spinning clipper> torque x3 :? WTF

Some things from the last couple days
fairy near swirl bs
swixie near swirl :D :D :D
my best swixie same rake
best mobius (and it was my flip :? )

Also I hit ripstein which seemed like an "impossible" trick for me when I started.

So when I started I would watch brian bears videos, clavens videos, and vasek klouda videos. They each brought something to the table that was literally awesome. There were three tricks that always made me cringe whirr, ripstein, and nemesis. I have hit rev. whirr and ripstein but no nemesis  I dont even want to attempt nemesis or really hit it. I would much rather hit right now
 railing (ducking) anything (mainly railing gyro pickup and big fish)
 frankenstein
 a really clean moby dick
 pdx grifter> grifter rpt
 pendulous triple dyno  (If theres a god...)
 5 contact unique calf run 8O
 spinning ducking pdx grifter
 pendulous barfly rake b2b
 invent a few more tricks

I am pretty sure I invented like 10 or so tricks
swixie near and far monster
pendulous rev whirling ss calf
pendulous weaving monster
roxie flapper
Probably few others but these are the only ones I'd bet on.

Hopefully I can add swixe pdx grifter and xbd toe set ripstein ending on zipper to the list but i think it was the

My gane gas changed quite a bit in the past few days. I am so much better at swixie sets. I would consider them my second best set.
1.Pendulous
2.Swixie
3.Pixie
4.Stepping
5.Arctic
6.Fairy
7.Calf Set Pixie
8.Hyper
9.Quantom, Atomic, Rev. Whirling etc

Perhaps pendulous rev. whirling is somewhere in there. But yeah swixie sets "leveled up"

Props on Ripstein!!!!! Hard ass trick. Also, sick to hear that you're swixie sets have gotten better. Those things are so sick. I really have trouble with them, but yeah man, mad props on those too.

Thanks especially about the swixies. Try them reverse!

Ok! Mark my words... Swixie pogo quasi ducking spinning butter will be the first 10 add hit! That is 10 right? Whatever it is possible... I got an uptime swixie quasi and adding a pogo keeps the "natural" level the same so anybody that can hit "swixie pogo quasi" uptime "duck" and then hit a downtime "ducking butter" should be able to hit it. Come on?

On to the main point of this post
Where should i play in the winter?
Morning
A. Go to a gym and pay
B. Play outside and be cold
C. Go to school and be bothered
D. Play in my basement or room and be cluttered
E. Other?
Night
A. Go to a gym and pay
B. Outside... cold and dark
C. School and be bothered
D. Basement or room and be cluttered (short strings)
E. Other
Weekends
A. NYC trip but pay a few bucks for tranportation and whatnot
B. Outside
C. Go to a gym
D. Take a trip somewhere else
1. Ramapo
2. Rutgers
3. Pennsylvania or something
4. Europe

I'll probably end up playing outside or in my room and perhaps a few trips to nyc. Any other possibilities?

Been hitting some dragons lately. This may sound like an easy goal but it is not. Hit toe inside outside clipper zipper dragon sole monster flapper calf and frigid all BSOS! I think that it is a good goal. Try it.
I also got a pm from somebody i look up to in the footbag community more than anybody else giving me props advice and ideas! The word whirlwind was in the pm. Made my day though.
Zipper is such a hard trick! Seriously can anybody hit ss zipper x10? You cant bend your knee. :? It does not make any sense.

First time I played in a while. I hit quite a few new things or atleast things that I'm not sure if I have hit probably because they are just moves that you hit on the way to other moves or for fun. Anyway those would be sumo, matador, blizzard ending on inside, pendulous double sole dyno, nuclear ducking drop and maybe a few more i dont really care about these. It was really about some combos I thought up like pendulous sole double dyno>dragon 69 (i didnt hit it) but yeah it is not "out of the question" considering pendulous double sole dyno isnt that hard even thought I cant ever remember hitting it. Then there were a few other things like pendulous sole dyno> spinning sole osis, pendulous sole dyno> swirling xbd heel by accident, a really THE swixie nuclear but whatever. Nuclear is cool especially if youre short and the dex is tight. Sole osis and sole dyno sweet.

Clippers were ON today but the toes were OFF. Higher percentage of mariuses hit than toe set legovers.
swixie ss swirl> matador
ducking dyno> torque> spinning clipper (1st try of the day)
spinning ducking osis x2
nuclear near osis> torque

Its "big move" time. Prot, 69, pend. triple dyno, big fish, and cold fusion where are you?

Hit a few of the above combos but I couldnt play outside (wayyy to cold) or in an open inside area so really easy strings and slightly above my level tricks were what I went for. I hit all of the torque moves from torque to mobius (for me) I guess :D Torque, Torquescrew, Pdx Torque, Mobius, Marius, Swirling/Swixie near, and Gravedigger. Blurry torque is way too hard for me, marius is A LOT easier than mobius, and I think I am doing gravedigger incorrectly. Something is off here. The polish record is 2 and I hit one :? That doesnt make sense but whatever I think one is uptime and one is downtime. Footbag Rambling---So much cooler than those stupid plos, and atomsmashers, and ps mirages to dlos and fudges and smudges. Now I almost never drop...well as long as it hits my foot. Oh yeah speaking of which some of today's highlight things^^^ were barefoot but Im not sure which so yeah :( I am way to cocky. Right up until the bag hit my foot I thought I could hit backside(2nd dex symposium) gauntlet but nope. Im done but footbag is fun still.

Props on Mobius and all of those other big new tricks dude! Sounds like you've really been working since last time we shredded. Hope to kick again once weather permits.

PS. Trying to hold a bigger footbag jam at my campus at the end of this year, before Summer. I'll let you know more when more info is out.

Keep kicking dude

Been palaying really infrequently. Im still not really good. There are 7,000,000,000 on this Earth and I'm probably the only one better at marius than pdx whirl. I am still one sided but I'm not inept with with my flip.
Lately I've been giving some goes and sevens...cuz why the fuck not? I mean I can play some footbag, right? Am I going to go for those pdx dlo> dimwalk> ripwalk> pdx whirl boring ass runs all the time? The stereotypical runs that you see from every guiltless shredder? (though im not guiltless) Well I sidetracked quite a bit but yeah. Today I give diving marius, nuclear mobius, and super mario ago. I footed all three barefoot... dont know how that translates but I dont give a shit.
Honestly I doubt Im gonna get any better at footbag. From now till I stop playing Ill probably on think of new shit and maybe become comfortable with a downtime concept besides osis and gyro toe. Part of me feels like if I drilled those pickups, mirages, legover, butterflys, illusions, and stuff I'd be really good. But I dont think I would I think I would be really boring to watch. Right now I feel like I may hit 5 solid tricks but theyre solid. Hopefully I can start making some videos soon cuz I have some wild ideas. I mean footbag videos suck! I guess I cant talk cuz I havent made one but goddamn. "Here is 3 minutes of boring ass bops and easy 4s" Nobody wants to watch shit like that. Even a player like me can make an interesting video  but whatever. Heres to hoping I never bore somebody with a video I make. Eh venting...
Would yall want to watch 10 videos of 10 weird footbag tricks in each?
Example
First Video
roxie tootsie role
nuclear mobius
pendulous ducking dyno
swixie wauxpin
xbd toe set nuclear zoid butterfly
pendulous rev whirling swirling rake
pendulous rev whirling wauxpin
inside set swirling inside
rooted pendulum
idk swurling gyro rooted toe

Just really weird shit. Idk ill probably do that. But yeah peace...

Dude, so good good to see you post in here again. I love reading your blog. You've got so many nutty ideas for some cool ass [uns] tricks. What you were saying about the "I'm never gonna get good at footbag" thing... SHUT UP :P Start drilling man. I was beginning to think I'd never go guiltless, but I finally paid attention to what everyone told me for the longest time... probably some of the most important words I've heard in footbag (along with "both sides" and "back straight")... "DRILL YOUR BASICS". I've been told this for such a long time, but I never listened to any of them... I just tried to hit bigger and weirder shit. Then I started to drill my basics hardcore and I noticed a huge difference in a few weeks. My footbag teacher, Bob R., even said "you look like a freestyle footbag player now, rather than a hacky sacker with cool tricks". Give it a shot dude. I'd love to see you as a guiltless player. I would definitely download your videos, put them on my iPod and watch them religiously. You have such a freaking cool style and I know a lot of people would enjoy it. Plus, one cool thing about you is that HARD tricks come pretty easily, and when you start drilling your basics, those HARD tricks will only become easier. You're still young... you definitely have time.

:!:Put your mind to it and you can do anything:!: (except fly, that shit's impossible)

PS. I hope I get to shred with you at the PA jam we're holding April 15-17.

So today was day 1 of absurd training. I worked spinning clippers and nothing else. Well that is false I some other thijgs but yeah. I didnt go for consecutives but I aimed for "the perfect spinning clipper." So yeah...I actually think I improved on the sc set. No more movement except vertical movement on those sets :)
Nick, lol at a lot of what you said but thanks for compliments. It is hard to accurately gauge your level and style so yeah.

Had probably my best run ever today it included
matador, grifter, some spinning clippers, bs pendulous legover, some swirls and whatnot.

Mothra is pretty clever. I did not know about that. 69 is good but really? :)
Nuke mobius? Yes I have tried it I have not hit it but I am losing sleep over that. It is so simple but yeah I think i can hit it considering i hit nuke gyro pickup and I have a lot more leeway with an osis.

Today was a mess of basic tilt but mainly legovers and illusions. After 20 minutes I threw in pickups, osii, and mirages. Then I rewarded myself with with 15 minutes of torques, barflys, barfrys, matadors, grifters, pdx grifters, and one sweet combo. calf stall> near flapper> sole osis
